The city administration of Krasnodar begins the project of the automation system of paid parkings

The LANIT-SOUTH company and administration of Krasnodar signed the agreement on implementation of a free pilot project of an automated system of paid parkings in the city, the press service of the company reported on July 5, 2013.

Territory

According to arrangements, the test zone will cover parkings near Theatre Square and the Hay market.

Objectives

The administration of Krasnodar considers the possibility further to create paid parkings on the central streets of the downtown.

Vladimir Evlanov, the head of the municipality the city of Krasnodar, noted: "Creation of paid parkings will allow to solve several problems at once: systematize work of the existing parking, to struggle effectively with breakers of rules of the parking, free city streets for journey of transport, thereby considerably to improve the movement in the downtown and reduce traffic jams. A part of the funds raised for the parking will go for improvement of the yards, entrances and public territories".

Alexey Berdnikov, the CEO emphasized LANIT-SOUTH: "It will be possible to pay for the parking by different methods: the uniform transport or bank card, via the parking meter, using the SMS or mobile applications. When implementing this project the company is going to use solutions and the experience accumulated by LANIT Group and in particular LANTER company when implementing the similar project in Moscow".
