TeamViewer QuickSupport is the solution for remote support of devices on the Android platform and iOS. TeamViewer QuickSupport provides remote access to mobile devices by means of the software of TeamViewer and does possible elimination of problems of users at distance.

  • system magazines — viewing system information and system magazines can help to define a problem;
  • file transfer — file transfer on the mobile device and from the mobile device is very simple;
  • safe connection — each session of remote work is ciphered and has the high level of security (data are ciphered on the basis of an algorithm of RSA with the closed/opened exchange of keys and a 256-bit algorithm of AES).


Versionny dependence and availability

Remote support of mobile devices by means of the TeamViewer QuickSupport application is available in TeamViewer 8. Remote support is possible for any phone or the tablet on the Android platform of version 2.3 or above. It is available to any device based on iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod touch) with iOS of version 5.0 or above. Depending on the producer addition installation can be required. Support can be performed from any computer working under Windows or Mac.

For use of functions of remote support of mobile devices using TeamViewer QuickSupport, the additional license is necessary. Its cost depends on the available license for TeamViewer 8. The TeamViewer program is provided to private users free of charge. The TeamViewer QuickSupport application based on Android and iOS is available to devices on the website of vendor.

2016

Support of Windows 10 Mobile

On August 16, 2016 the TeamViewer company announced release of the application for a full remote support of devices on the Windows platform of 10 Mobile.

The QuickSupport application for Windows devices provides "net" remote control, allowing users to see the screen of the remote device and to perform operations with its help the same as at connection to the computer.

The Microsoft corporation developed API for remote demonstration of the screen and device management of Windows in cooperation with TeamViewer. It helped TeamViewer to create the QuickSupport Preview application for Windows 10 Mobile and to offer complete remote control the Windows smartphones in response to requests of users of such functionality.

The QuickSupport Preview application is available to testing by users with the free license, to users with the licenses Premium and Corporate which purchased the complete version of TeamViewer 11 for Windows, Mac or Linux.

QuickSupport supports R-7 Smartglasses

On February 24, 2015 the TeamViewer company announced strategic partnership with TP Vision company.

Partnership for both parties - a step towards own interests: TeamViewer leaves in a segment of TVs of Smart TV, Philips - improves image of a brand and increases consumer loyalty. It will strengthen a position of the company in highly competitive market.

Advertizing of TeamViewer and TP Vision (2015) companies

Philips uses Android TV as a software platform for the TVs with Android OS. TeamViewer will provide integration of the Android-application of QuickSupport into smart TVs of Philips. The QuickSupport application will be installed previously on all TVs of Philips on the Android platform and will allow to show the screen and to manage far off the device in real time.

Buyers of products of Philips will be able to use functions of remote technical support. Properties:

QuickSupport is updated for devices on Android OS

On February 24, 2015 the TeamViewer company announced an exit of the updated QuickSupport release for devices on the Android TeamViewer platform[1].

The new application version supports remote access to models of HP and the elite Savelli smartphones. Business users of devices of Asus got the facilitated access to remote support by means of new settings. Their automatic loading is required to log in to the account TeamViewer in the application.

The updated application is available to users of TeamViewer worldwide free of charge and can be loaded from app store of Google Play. The version of TeamViewer for personal computers is free for personal use.

For February 24, 2015 the application provides functions:

On June 2, 2015 the TeamViewer company released the optimized version of the application of QuickSupport[2].

In this application version processes of remote technical support of Android devices from any computer running Windows are improved that, according to the company, caused almost triple increase in speed of remote connection to mobile devices.

Among the added and optimized QuickSupport functions — Smart Quality (intellectual settings of quality). Setup of speed and quality is executed automatically that does remote control more convenient.
