Tatnefteproduct controls movements of special transport by the modules GLONASS/GPS

The holding company Tatnefteproduct equipped the vehicle fleet GLONASSGPS of system / monitoring SCOUT, the press service of the company integrator reported NaviComAvto on July 11, 2013.

Platform

Daily transportation of oil products requires constant control of a company performance of fuel trucks which quantity is 80% of all vehicle fleet. For control of fuel consumption, reduction of the increased consumption of fuels and lubricants, simplification of the reporting under the movement, at the end of 2011 the management of JSC HK Tatnefteproduct made the decision to equip transport with the system of satellite monitoring SCOUT.

Job

In January, 2012 on fuel trucks of the company set navigation GLONASS/GPS terminals MT-600, in the fuel tanks of fuel trucks and stationary tanks the fuel level sensors (FLS) are installed. In detail 20 automated jobs with the software SCOUT Explorer.

The control system is installed on 110 units of the different vehicles transporting oil products from the 21st oil depot at 161 gas stations which are owned by the company.

Several months later after equipment the company reduced fuel consumption rates by 10-20%.

"Thanks to the installed equipment at any time it is possible to define location of the vehicle and to coordinate work of the driver and also to check style of its movement — the acting as the chief of technical control of Tatnefteproduct Ruslan Aybedullov noted. - This fact is very important for the company in respect of increase in security".
