In October, 2013 in the head company of Transneft - JSC Transneft - and its "daughter"Centrsibnefteprovod gives start to the project on creation and implementation of a standard corporate system of personnel management (HRM system) which is going to be spread around afterwards also on other enterprises of group.

Transneft notes that now in its subsidiaries a large number of the diverse systems for problems of personnel management with local bases of the normative reference information is used. At the same time in most cases only the basic functionality becomes covered by one system.

In JSC Transneft, in particular, for personnel management a system Galaktika is used. The company began to use its module on payroll calculation in 1998, and the personnel management module – since 2008.

At the enterprises in JSC Transneft refer lack of an opportunity to receive the analytical and summary reporting due to the lack of the single database on personnel, only partial support of business management processes in this area and also lack of their integration with other existing IT systems to key problems of the current situation with control automation by personnel.

With respect thereto among requirements to a standard HRM system which will be implemented in the companies of Transneft support of all cycle of management of data domain is registered. In particular, it should automate organizational management, management of material motivation of personnel, personnel records, payroll and also training management and personnel development.

Besides, a system should be designed in the centralized architecture allowing all organizations of Transneft to work in the single database according to the powers.

As it appears from the published project documentation, the standard solution will be implemented based on the SAP HCM platform (SAP Human Capital Management) and integrated with the ERP system which is used in JSC Transneft Galaktika and SAP ERP in Centrsibnefteprovoda.

It is going complete implementation of a new HRM system in JSC Transneft and Centrsibnefteprovode by the end of 2014, and the cost of works on creation of the standard solution will be about 102 million rubles.
