The Omnicomm company performed system implementation of monitoring of transport in vehicle fleet of "Voronezh Fuel Company" (VFC), the company integrator reported on August 16, 2013.

Project Background

The optimal ratio price/quality and compliance of the used navigation and telematic equipment to the Order of Ministry of Transport of N285 on transportation of dangerous loads became key factors when choosing the solution in the field of monitoring of transport. The significant role was played by the possibility of expansion of functionality of a system allowing to control further the volume of the transported fuel and its distribution by the refueling station.

Within the project navigation Omnicomm Optim terminals and Omnicomm LLS fuel level sensors are installed on all vehicles of customer company.

Project Results

Result of implementation - expense reduction on fuel and undesirable outages of technology, a possibility of use of actual data on fuel consumption fuel trucks in accounting and management accounting of the company.

Stanislav Yemelyanov, the deputy CEO of Omnicomm, noted that for the companies which expenses on the maintenance of transport are key use of the systems of satellite monitoring becomes the industry standard: "For such companies it is important to come to the decision on expense optimization on fuel in time. Despite initial costs, implementation of monitoring systems of transport allows to receive result from first month of operation. And today we observe active implementation of the systems of navigation in the companies of the transport and logistic, construction and oil and gas industry".
