Salekhard the experimental design bureau implements the automation equipment of IT services

The Softline company completed an implementation project of a management system for the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) configurations for the Salekhard district clinical hospital, the press service of integrator reported on August 27, 2013.

Project Background

In the northern cities of the Ural Federal District the question of presence of the qualified IT specialists is particularly acute. For Salekhard experimental design bureau this problem is more relevant, than for the commercial organizations. Therefore the maximum automation of providing IT services was required for hospital.

Project Progress

Within the signed agreement of Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA) the management of hospital together with managers and engineers of Softline company made the decision - to automate process of management of the PC park numbering about 400 units and more than 1500 users working in six buildings of hospital using a management system for the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) configurations.

"The role of IT in Salekhard experimental design bureau cannot be revaluated – the most important aspects of activity are automated: research laboratories, operational, receiving doctors and many other things. Therefore the lack of interruptions in work of IT services was the most important condition when implementing project works. Besides, it was important to remember also preserving of confidentiality of personal data of patients of hospital, - Dmitry Nagovitsyn, the head of the Center of solutions of Softline company in the Ural Federal District and Perm Krai noted. – SCCM allows to carry out inventory of the used assets (the PC and software) without essential labor costs. Also when using SCCM there was an opportunity to standardize jobs of users. The functionality automating installation of the operating system and software of the PC and migration of the circle of users on the newest operating systems of Microsoft corporation became an essential innovation".

Project Results

Automation of basic processes of IT department became a result of the project that allowed to reduce labor costs of division by support and development of IT infrastructure, to effectively organize work of remote divisions with an information system of hospital. As a result, also need for building of the staff of IT specialists decreased.
