VTB 24 changes HP OpenView for OmniTracker

VTB 24 bank with assistance of Cleverics executed migration of the automation system of processes of ITSM on OMNITRACKER, the press service of integrator reported on August 28, 2013.

Project Background

By 2012 in bank made the decision on migration of an ITSM system with HP OpenView Service Desk 4.5 on the new software product. The necessity of migration was caused by two factors:

• the termination of support of the used system,
• the aspiration to overcome the existing functional restrictions of HP of Service Desk for further development of the operating ITSM processes.

Migration on the OMNITRACKER platform on which platform specialists of Cleverics develop the specialized project solution CleverENGINE optimized for the fastest and comfortable transition from HP Service Desk was selected from several considered options.

Project Progress

Within migration are executed:

• transfer of business logic,
• handbook data,
• maximum reproduction of the usual user interface.

Project Results

The works are completed within seven months, including 1.5 months of experienced and production operation. The functional scope of the project includes an incident management process and requests of users within which more than 5 thousand addresses of users daily, process of management of configurations and the configuration database (CMDB) containing more than 60 thousand configuration units with communications and also process of management of the level of IT services are processed.
