Medvedev's analysts migrate from Motive on EDMS Directum

In September, 2013 in the Russian Government Analytical Centre the implementation project of new EDMS based on the Directum system which should automate all complex of the processes connected with document flow including work with the entering, outgoing, organizational and administrative and internal documents, the organization and holding meetings and also control of performing discipline started.

As it appears from the project documentation, more than 150 employees of the center should become users of new EDMS. They will be able to use a system not only from stationary jobs, but also from mobile devices based on Android OS of version 4.0 and also the Apple iOS of version 6.0 and above is higher.

EDMS Directum will be integrated with the MEDO system to provide the automated information exchange with government office, Presidential Administration, federal and regional state agencies. Also a system will be integrated about SIEI and interaction with Control state automated system and the portal of state services will exercise.

"Implementation of the developed EDMS should increase efficiency of activity of divisions of Analytical center, in terms of efficiency of the solution of functional tasks, not less, than for 25‑30%", - the customer expects.

It should be noted that at the time of start of the project for the organization of electronic document management and control of execution of documents in Analytical center the automated system constructed based on the web focused system of operational management of Motiv company is already used.

In the project documentation the customer notes that it "has a number of restrictions on the functionality" and is fully not capable to satisfy the increased requirements of Analytical center". Motive did not comment on it at the time of the publication of material.

In the same place it is said that during migration on a new system from Motive all tasks and documents and also data from different qualifiers and reference books should be imported to EDMS Directum. On transition time automatic synchronization of data in the direction from Motive in new EDMS should be configured.

System implementation will be carried out in three steps with the maximum terms of execution of works in 30, 120 and 210 days of date of signing of the contract. As integrator on the project the Ay-Ti company acts.
