Biography
Alexander Smolin joined the SafeBox command of RedStone Capital holding in April, 2019. He is responsible for strategic development, operating activities and scaling of the project in the territory of Russia.
Earlier Alexander directed retail sales and customer service, development and operational management of sales of large players of the market by national channels (Procter&Gamble, Tele2, Vimpelcom), was responsible for marketing and development of Ford Motor Company, KFC, Pizza Hut, was engaged in the strategic management, preparation and carrying out IPO Kontakt East Group.
Since September, 2013 Alexander Smolin headed the joint directorate on sales and development of distribution of Tele2 Russia. Development and deployment of strategy in sales, development of distribution channels, planning and creation of management systems for retail network Russia became key tasks of Alexander on this position. Alexander Smolin was responsible for search and involvement of strategic partners, expansion of a range of goods and services in salons of sales and service of Tele2.
In 2011 Alexander joined the Tele2 Russia command as the development director of own retail network. Since July, 2013 Alexander in addition temporarily fulfilled duties of the sales director of Tele2 Russia.
Before arrival to Tele2 Alexander Smolin worked at different executive positions in the largest international and national companies (Procter & Gamble, Ford Motor Company, ENIRO AB, YUM! Brands) where was engaged in development of cooperation with partners, questions of construction, franchizing and the real estate.
Education
Alexander Smolin graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, has the diploma of MBA of the Grenoble higher school of business (Grenoble Graduate School of Business).
