Earlier in sanatorium in an information system only accounting was kept. There was no opportunity to prepare the management reporting, to plan income and expenses of the enterprise, to manage the number of rooms, to control and plan work of all divisions of sanatorium. Non-automated business processes did not give to the management of a clear and reliable picture about work of sanatorium.

The management made the decision on creation of a new information system which would allow to control accommodation and a power supply of guests of sanatorium, to keep account of the rendered medical services to guests, to prepare the reporting necessary for effective management.

For consultation in the choice of an optimal system the management of sanatorium addressed specialists of 1C-Rarus company in Ukraine. The software product "1C-Rarus was offered: Management of health resort, edition 1, the Ukrainian version" which allows to keep operational accounting of all divisions of sanatorium from accommodation before treatment.

At the first stage of the project of automation management of the sanatorium number of rooms is organized. Now the staff of sanatorium can quicker issue armoring and accommodation of guests, to quickly estimate load of numbers, in read seconds to pick up number corresponding to the guest's wishes. The history of stay of guests in sanatorium is conducted. The employee of organization can browse at any moment whether the guest for accommodation and the rendered services paid, to check carrying out settlement. A system allows to select quickly available rooms for guests. Use of the number of rooms of sanatorium became optimal.

In sanatorium in a day the settlement up to 200 guests is performed, and during a high resort season the number of settlements considerably increases. A system allows to settle quickly visitors, servicing one guest on average in 5 minutes. High service rate at the first stage of interaction with guests creates positive image of sanatorium in the opinion of clients.

The management of sanatorium had all necessary tools for receiving operational management information. Work with legal documents became simpler.

The new information system is integrated with the accounting program of sanatorium. All data on accounting for last years are saved, employees are saved from need to manually enter information on the rendered services. Today accounting automatically obtains all necessary data for formation of the regulated reporting.
