The IT-Consult group completed the project of development of the specialized solution for design of outside engineering networks for EKOS scientific and production firm.
EKOS scientific and production firm executes practically all work types in the field of water supply and water disposal: a research, design, construction, a complete set and delivery of the Russian and import equipment with warranty and post warranty service, a commissioning of constructions, personnel training, service maintenance of water supply systems and water disposals of housing and communal services and industrial enterprises. Besides, EKOS conducts researches on cleaning natural and drain waters, develops technologies of water purification for the solution of specific objectives.
At design it is featured development of potential and use of the last achievements of science in the field of water supply, water disposal and water treatment. For this reason in May, 2013 the management of LLC NPF EKOS made the decision on automation of process of preparation and release of drawings of the project and work documentation on outside networks of water supply and the sewerage.

The management ASCON-Samara suggested us to develop the special solution as the annex to the Compas-Grafik V14 system. Four months later development was complete.
The developed application functions as applied library among Compas-Grafik V14 and is intended for development of drawings of the project and work documentation on outside networks of water supply and the sewerage. Execution of drawings is performed according to requirements of the existing SPDS and ESKD standards. An original informatin for a program runtime is the file of the vector image of topographical site plan on which projectible networks should be placed. The program works both with the normal vector image, and with digitized – when for each point of the image of the topographical plan from the file of the vector image it is possible to receive value of height of this point. For digitization of the vector image the special procedure is provided in the program.
The program provides:
- creation of the plan of networks;
- arrangement on the plan of additional elements (wells, etc.);
- creation on the plan of wells, the crossed communications, it is expensive;
- the automated removal of coordinates and heights of characteristic points from the plan of networks for creation of a profile;
- calculation of a profile of network;
- calculation and filling of this form;
- the automated creation on a profile of additional elements and the crossed objects;
- compliance to requirements of GOST 21.604-82 "Water supply and sewerage. Outside networks".

Engineers had to draw an area profile on the route of laying of pipes, to make labor-consuming calculations of marks of a bottom or tray of pipes, natural and project marks of the earth. Such method of design was insufficiently effective.
