Universal automated design engineering system the Compas-Grafik (for designing in mechanical engineering and for design in construction).


The Compas-Grafik — the universal automated design engineering system allowing to issue in the high-speed mode drawings of products, schemes, specifications, different text documents, tables, instructions and other documents.

The Compas-Grafik can act as the integrated module KOMPAS-3D for work with drawings and sketches and as the independent software product. The Compas-Grafik system gives the amplest opportunities to automation of construction work in different industries. It is successfully used in machine-building design, at project construction works, drawing up different plans and schemes.

The flexibility of setup of a system and a large number of applied libraries and applications for the Compas-Grafik allow to close practically all tasks of the user connected with release of technical documentation.

A system is initially focused on a full support of the ESKD standards. At the same time she has potential of flexible configuration on standards of the enterprise.

Means of import/export of graphic documents (the Compas-Grafik supports the formats DXF, DWG, IGES, eDrawings) allow to organize data exchange with the suppliers and customers using any graphic systems.

All functionality the Compas-Grafik is subordinated to the purposes of high-speed creation of high-quality drawings, schemes, settlement explanatory notes, specifications, instructions and other documents.

To services of the user:

  • the thought-over and user-friendly interface doing work of the designer fast and bringing pleasure,

multisheet drawings, various methods and modes of creation of graphic primitives (including orthogonal drawing, binding to a grid, etc.),

  • management of order of drawing of graphic objects,
  • powerful tools of creation of parametrical models for often applied standard parts or assembly units,
  • creation of libraries of standard fragments without any programming,
  • any styles of lines, shadings, texts, numerous methods of putting of the sizes and technology designations,
  • automatic selection of admissions and deviations, quick access to standard texts and designations,
  • the built-in text editor with spell check,
  • built-in tabular editor.

The built-in system of design of specifications allows to issue various specifications, sheets and other tabular documents, at the same time seamless integration of a system with the main applications and different libraries and the high level of automation allows the user to avoid repeated repeated data entry and not to make mistakes.


Since KOMPAS-3D of V10 the special "Construction configuration" which modifies a universal system in the specialized tool of the designer is created. This configuration gives an opportunity to use the interface profiles created under different specialists (the EXPERT, KM profiles, KZh, OV, VK, TH).

The Compas-Grafik is initially focused on a full support of the SPDS and ESKD standards. At the same time has potential of flexible configuration on standards of the specific project organization.

All functionality the Compas-Grafik is subordinated to the purposes of high-speed creation of high-quality drawings, schemes, settlement explanatory notes, specifications, instructions and other documents.

  • Possibilities of collective work on drawings (a command – the Image from a type of other drawing);

  • Powerful tools of creation of parametrical elements for often applied standard construction products or constructions;
  • Creation of libraries of standard elements without any programming;
  • Any styles of lines, shadings, texts;
  • Numerous methods of putting of the sizes and technology designations; built-in tabular editor.

The built-in specification allows to create various specifications, explications, sheets and other tabular documents at design. It is possible for the specification how to place in drawings (a little on one sheet), and to release the independent document. In the Construction COMPASS configuration more than 50 styles in accordance with GOST are created, besides, the easy way is provided to create the user forms of specifications.

There are several modes of formation of the specification:

  • the manual mode (manual filling of the specifications given in forms),
  • semi-automatic (entering of data in the specification by the consecutive description graphic * elements on the drawing as subjects of the specification),
  • automatic (when using library elements data in the specification are entered automatically; elements "know" to what forms of specifications they should transfer information).

It should be noted separately the built-in engineering text editor (will allow to avoid costs for office text editors).

In the Compas-Grafik there is a special dashboard "Designations for PSP". In this panel commands of creation of the designations used in industrial and construction design are collected:

  • The brand / position designation (without line callout, with the line callout, on the line);
  • Designations of a portable node and fragment;
  • Designation of a node in section;
  • Node number;
  • Portable text (a callout for multilayer construction);
  • Single coordination axes (direct, arc, circular).

Experience of users in Russia and the CIS countries shows that the Compas-Grafik allows to create effectively drawings of any direction and complexity.
