The Softline company announced in the fall of 2013 project completion on creation of data center for the Ministry of Health and Resorts of Kabardino-Balkar Republic. The DPC allowed to consolidate separate data of divisions of the organization, to provide fault tolerance of services and it is reliable to protect information.
The Ministry of Health and Resorts of Kabardino-Balkar Republic (the Ministry of Health of KBR) pursues state policy in the field of health care and also in the resort and recreational sphere, develops republican target programs of development of health care, prevention of diseases, delivery of health care, providing the population with medicines, exercises quality control and safety of medical activity.
The task to provide compliance to requirements of the program of the upgrade of health care of the region providing including, implementation of modern information systems in organizations of the industry, their equipment with the necessary computer equipment and also transition to conducting document flow in electronic form was set for the organization. Besides, the ministry needed to provide consolidation of data, having created the developed, scaled and easily integrated IT infrastructure. At the time of the beginning of the project in the Ministry of Health of KBR 2000 users worked, at the same time the lack of a computer hardware and the software necessary for ensuring full activity of all employees was felt.
Based on the tender of the Ministry of Health of KBR for project implementation for creation of DPC by the IT partner there was a Softline company having deep examination in plot area of data centers for the benefit of customers of the different industries. The company undertook tasks of preparation of technical documentation, selection of the necessary equipment and software.
During the complex project specialists of Softline carried out the following works: design and supply of equipment for cooling and security of the premises and also cabinets, servers and storage systems of HP; repair of "turnkey" premises, electric distributing, setup of electric boards, field buses, back supply and lighting, installation and setup of the equipment, including - video surveillance systems; delivery of the licenses Microsoft Enterprise Agreement for 1300 jobs; setup of virtualization with Microsoft Hyper-V hypervisor; setup of services Microsoft Exchange and Lync.
The solution based on a blade chassis of HP of BladeSystem c7000 became a basis for creation of a data processing center. Among its main advantages there are reliability, simplicity of management, high performance and scalability and also a possibility of post warranty service maintenance.

Besides, it attracted us with existence of good tools to self-diagnostics and pro-active monitoring and also opportunities of flexible redistribution of resources — Varitlov Arsenty, the head of department of automation and informatization of the Ministry of Health of KBR says. - The full compatibility of the HP solution confirmed with appropriate certificates with means of virtualization of Microsoft and VMware became additional benefit. An opportunity to increase computing powers of DPC by adding a blade servers is very important for us is an optimal way of cost reduction when scaling a system. With the NR platform we stepped from local calculations to cloud model of services".
The equipment is used for such tasks as support of services of e-mail, the system of video conferences and a medical information system as a part of data center of the Ministry of Health of KBR.
