History

2015: Infinet Products - Russian

On October 1, 2015, Infinet announced that the company's products, including the InfiMAN 2x2 and InfiLINK XG series devices, were assigned the status of telecommunications equipment of Russian origin. The basis of this event is the order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia No. 2867 of September 22, 2015.

The Commission under the Ministry of Industry and Trade took into account:

  • localization level,
  • completeness of design documentation,
  • availability of research and development works,
  • the state of the scientific and production base,
  • warranty and post-warranty service level,
  • possibility to carry out a complete cycle of equipment assembly in the territory of the Russian Federation.

Following the consideration of the application, the commission confirmed that the company's products meet all the necessary criteria for giving them the status of equipment of Russian origin.

Roman Smirnov, Director of Business Development at Infinet, noted: "Over the past year, the economic situation in the country has changed significantly. The import substitution policy assumes that domestic producers will be given preference in national communications projects. We expect that the status of the Russian manufacturer will create even more favorable conditions for us when concluding contracts and will strengthen leading positions in the domestic market. "

Infinet has been operating for 21 years. As of October 1, 2015, the company employs more than 130 employees. During this time, Infinet joined the group of world leaders in the development and production of broadband wireless access equipment. Networks built on the company's equipment platform operate in more than a hundred countries on five continents. The main production facilities of the company, laboratories, are concentrated in Yekaterinburg.

2014

Infinet, a Russian developer and manufacturer of operator-class broadband wireless access systems, announces a successful recertification audit to confirm compliance with the international quality standard ISO 9001:2008. Certification was carried out by the Quality Austria audit agency, which is part of the global IQNet network, guaranteeing access to the most advanced practices in the field of quality management.

Infinet's quality policy is based on improving management at all levels of management. One of the incentives for its improvement is periodic audits conducted by external experts of international qualification in the field of quality management, which make it possible to find new reserves for improvements. Such audits are conducted several times a year, ensuring transparency of the management system and its full compliance with international standards.

In 2014, the manufacturer released another line of equipment that operates in the 3.9 GHz frequency range and allows providing end customers with channels with a capacity of more than 100 Mbps. Serial production of equipment in the range of 3.9 GHz is an important stage in the company's promotion to European markets. Until now, European operators could not use this frequency resource in full due to the lack of suitable equipment. The first customer of this line was the wireless operator UK Broadband (UK), which plans to deploy a full-scale fixed network on the basis of Infinet equipment, as well as continue the construction of the LTE network in the 3.5 and 3.6 GHz bands.

2014 was marked by the opening of a large number of representative offices and distributors of Infinet in various regions - Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil), Australia, Lebanon, Pakistan, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Kazakhstan. The manufacturer has more than 30 direct distributors and more than 10 representative offices worldwide. This allows the company to strengthen its position in the competitive market, which is confirmed by the significant growth of implemented projects in various sectors of the economy.

2013

In 2013, the manufacturer updated several key products - InfiMAN 2x2 point-to-multipoint family, base station and subscriber terminals, providing higher performance, higher throughput and a more cost-effective solution for its customers worldwide.

The hardware platform for the InfiLINK 2x2 LITE ("light" point-to-point links) and InfiMAN 2x2 (subscriber terminals) families allows you to increase real performance by up to 50% in point-to-multipoint mode and up to 130% in point-to-point mode. The updated models are fully compatible with the previous models, and also support "transient" models that allow connecting to non-MIMO (Multiple-Input/Multiple-Output) equipment.

The company also developed a new system for monitoring and managing the InfiMONITOR network, which is still distributed free of charge for equipment users.

In the operator segment, large contracts were implemented with Enfort, PROSTOR Telecom, Flex operators, as well as with representatives of the Big Three - Beeline and MTS.

A joint team of specialists of Infinet, Muvik and Informsvyaz-Kazakhstan signed agreements on the use of Infinet equipment for the construction of telecommunications infrastructure of Kazakhstan's national telecom operator, KazTransCom OJSC.

Security projects have been implemented - the urban system, video surveillances Moscow as part of the Safe City program, the design of the SHBD network for the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation in the Moscow Region.

In the energy segment, the construction of main communication channels was carried out on the basis of Infinet equipment for the Orekhovo-Zuevsky electric networks with a coverage area of the entire city, the creation of a technological network for TatAISenergo, Tatarstan, as well as the creation of a video surveillance system for power plants Donbass, Ukraine.

In the extractive industry, the company managed to implement an unprecedented project - for the first time, the Infinet equipment was used at mobile facilities - video cameras were installed on the working equipment of the EVRAZ KGOK mining plant, Sverdlovsk Region.

In the international market, Infinet has also mastered new directions - Kuwait (the largest operator of BShD in the 3.5 GHz range - MADA), Oman (national operator Nawras), Senegal (video surveillance in the international port of Dakar) and many others. In 2013, the company significantly expanded the list of its partners in the Middle East, Latin America and the USA.

1993

The company began operations in 1993, it was a time of experimentation with wireless access equipment, studying its capabilities and point installations. Only in the 1998- 1999 years did mass demand for InfiNet Wireless equipment begin on the market. The company managed to become a supplier of operators who created the first wireless networks in Russia. Among them are Moscow Art Communications (later acquired by Enforta) and St. Petersburg Space Telecom (CJSC Kwantum[1].

The goal was to develop high-performance equipment with a large number of functionality in the field of wireless solutions. Based on broadband wireless access systems, InfiNet Wireless builds operator trunks, public-municipal services networks, corporate customers and public security agencies, and creates a wireless infrastructure for 3G/4G networks.
