iEOS

iEOS – a mobile workplace for use in the workflow system with Apple iPhone/iPad.

On September 24, 2013 the Electronic Office Systems company announced completion of testing of the new version of the iEOS system.

Description

Key feature of a product - a possibility of signing of documents the strengthened qualified electronic signature on tablets and smartphones from Apple, irrespective of the version of the operating system iOS set on them.

Earlier only opportunity to work with the EDS on tablets Apple iPad - to use the solution of CryptoPro CSP 3.6 cryptoprovider certified under the specific list of versions of the operating system iOS - beginning from iOS 4.2.1 and to the version of IOS 6.0.1 inclusive. At a release of the new version of the operating system (for example, iOS 7 expected in the nearest future) or updates of the current version use of this solution as the certified information security product becomes impossible as it will not be certified any more.

The EOS Group company integrated into the solution iEOS (a mobile workplace in an electronic document management system for devices of Apple) development of Aladdin R.D. company, as a part of a smart card with the certified Russian cryptography and the corresponding reader.

Advantage

Main advantage of the implemented approach: means of cryptographic information protection - a smart card in which it is stitched own operating system which is subject to certification of FSB. Thereby the smart card does not become attached to the version of the operating system of the tablet or smartphone, and just interacts with it via the standardized interface, allowing to work with the documents signed with the strengthened qualified signature.

Independence of the version of OS on the mobile device allows a smart card of Aladdin R.D. to increase the term of use of digital signature certificates in comparison with validity period of the certificates issued for use by software solutions as is means of protecting with not taken private key.

2015: iEOS 2.5.6

Mobile application of iEOS allows to work with means of cryptoprotection through a wireless card reader of Aladdin R.D. company

The Electronic Office Systems company published in March, 2015 in Apple Store the new version of the application of iEOS – 2.5.6. This application is developed for mobile devices with the operating system iOS and intended for work in electronic document management systems which creator is the EOS Group company.

Completions which are included by the version of iEOS 2.5.6 concern correction of some errors affecting stability of operation of application. The main change which distinguishes this version is a possibility of use of the wireless card reader from Aladdin R.D. company working through Bluetooth connection for reading of the smart cards containing means of cryptoprotection (cryptographic key and the digital signature certificate). Let's remind that mobile application of iEOS is specially developed for users who need to participate in life of the company, irrespective of their location. The application is used by heads and managers for whom the interface of the operating system iOS is usual and convenient. iEOS supports all transactions with documents which are necessary to this category of users for work in an electronic document management system:

• document retrieval with their grouping according to the user folders;
• viewing documents;
• issue of instructions (resolutions) on documents and initiative (with documents of not connected);
• viewing and the analysis of reports on the instructions issued earlier;
• creation of reports on accomplishment of instructions (tasks);
• work with draft documents and creation of notes to them (text, graphic, sound), approval (vising);
• signing (statement) of documents.

In iEOS, starting with version 2, means of cryptographic information protection of Aladdin R.D. company are used: a smart card JaCarta on which the cryptographic key and the certificate, and an external card reader is stored for Apple iPad iPhone. Thus, mobile application of iEOS allows to create and use the strengthened qualified electronic signature (EDS).

The wireless reader of bR301 of smart cards who is also developed by Aladdin R.D. company provides an opportunity for work with two or more mobile devices. For connection of a smart card to mobile devices the reader uses Bluetooth technology. At the same time the radius of consistent reception is about 0.5 m – at connection on Bluetooth the reader even optional to get from a pocket, and it is possible to leave a smart card inside. This reader it is possible to connect both to mobile devices, and to personal computers and notebooks on Windows platforms, Linux and Mac, using the USB-cable-adapter.

Thus, the possibility of use of a wireless card reader does work in the iEOS application of even more comfortable and also reduces risks in case of loss of the mobile device and provides the raised security level as the key and the certificate are stored on the card.

iEOS is compatible to identifiers Rutoken of the EDS of Bluetooth

On November 18, 2015 EOS (Software) LLC and Aktiv company declared compatibility and correctness of work of own products: electronic identifiers Rutoken of the EDS of Bluetooth and mobile application of iEOS.

Electronic identifiers Rutoken of the EDS of Bluetooth allow to use technologies of the electronic signature on any hardware-software platform, at the same time they can work both through Bluetooth, and via the USB interface. According to the signed companies EOS GROUP and "Asset" the certificate these identifiers are recommended for use as the hardware carrier of key information in the iEOS application.

Mobile application of iEOS is intended for work of users in the electronic document management systems developed by EOS Group for iPad. In this application users can sign documents with the strengthened qualified electronic signature.
