On October 2, 2013 the Volga region branch of JSC "MegaFon" by means of specialists of Petter Service company completed process of migration of the database of a convergent billing system of "PETER-SERVICE BISRT" from servers on the Itanium 9150 platform on modern servers on the Intel Xeon MP E7 platform.
Project Results
During preliminary works as specialists of the company audit and reduction of load of a database server is made. Further functioning of base is successfully tested on the new server, application servers are transferred to Linux RH.
Migration of the database is made without loss in 8 hours 11 minutes. Upgrade allowed the operator to accelerate considerably the main service and business processes.
