The federal agency on nuclear power Rosatom creates a knowledge management system

On November 7, 2013 it became known: the IBS group won tender for rendering services in development of a knowledge management system under problems of divisions of Rosatom state corporation.

Project Tasks

In 2011 the System concept of management of corporate knowledge of Rosatom state corporation according to which in the scientific organizations of Rosatom state corporation management tools are implemented by knowledge of three functional units is developed: management of scientific and technical communities, management of scientific and technical content, management of the rights to results of intellectual activity.

Implementation tool approved the practician of knowledge management is detailed programs of system implementation of management of knowledge in divisions.

The development approach of programs of actions offered IBS is based on carrying out audit of knowledge management systems in divisions of Rosatom state corporation. Audit of knowledge management systems will allow to determine the level of a maturity of knowledge management systems and to reveal the needs for development of knowledge management systems.

On the basis of the acquired information the table of a maturity of knowledge management systems of divisions of State corporation will be constructed and their involvement into a knowledge management system is calculated and also the rating of divisions on the level of a maturity of knowledge management systems will be created.

Development of programs of actions of development of knowledge management systems will become the final stage. It will be performed taking into account the revealed specific purposes and problems of knowledge management systems and requirements to knowledge management systems in 2-3 pilot divisions of State corporation. Upon termination of works of IBS will offer methodical recommendations about formation of the program of actions of development of a knowledge management system for other divisions of ROSATOM State Corporation.

In a work progress such complexes of State corporation as a nuclear weapon complex (in a civil part), a nuclear power complex, a scientific and technical complex, a complex on ensuring nuclear and radiation safety will be mentioned.

Alexander Saksin, the deputy CEO of IBS, noted: "We are sure that work of the modern enterprises of nuclear sector can be based effectively only when the corresponding management tools are used by knowledge. For this reason our task to develop and offer the most optimal and efficient actions for development of a knowledge management system in ROSATOM State Corporation. Necessary for this purpose IBS have all: existence in staff of the specialists having necessary examination and also three executed projects in the development area of concepts and programs within the innovation activity and five completed projects on development of systems of management of scientific and technical activity for the enterprises of nuclear sector".
