SPN Communications is one of the oldest and largest communication agencies in Russia and the CIS. It was founded in 1990. It has three offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kyiv. The total staff is over 250 people. It occupies the first line of the National Rating of Communication Companies. The first Russian IPRA Golden World Awards winner, fourteen-time SABRE Awards winner (including the first and already three-time winner of the Global SABRE Awards). From 2005 to 2013, the agency was part of the Ogilvy Public Relations international network and was called SPN Ogilvy. Since 2014, the company has been operating as an independent agency under a new name - SPN Communications.

SPN Ogilvy ranks first in the 2013 National Communications Company Rankings, is an eight-time winner of the SABRE Awards International Branding and Reputation Management Award, and a three-time winner of the Global SABRE Awards.
History
2024: Google Russia sues ₽2,5 billion hidden in advertising agencies
On December 9, 2024, the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal satisfied the claims of the bankrupt Google LLC against the advertising agencies Mgcom and Lion Communications to recover debts totaling ₽2,5 billion. The agencies tried to challenge the need to pay the penalty, citing requests from Google employees to defer payments in 2022. Read more here.
