EvrazHolding upgrades a corporate portal

On February 10, 2014 the Asteros Consulting company announced completion of migration of a corporate portal of EVRAZ holding on the Microsoft SharePoint 2013 platform.

For the organization of effective interaction and information exchange within EVRAZ, a few years ago unrolled a corporate portal. Over time the platform on the basis of which it functioned ceased to meet fully business needs, users, IT specialists. As a result, management [EvrazHolding|EVRAZ]] made the decision on creation of unified information corporate environment on the Microsoft SharePoint platform.

The command of Asteros Consulting acted as the contractor of the project.

Project Progress

Within 70 working days specialists of the contractor together with client representatives prepared the requirement description of different services for future portal and implemented necessary functionality on the new platform.

Successful experience of implementation and use of a corporate portal became a basis for making decision on migration of contents from the MS platform of SharePoint 2010 on the new hi-tech version of MS SharePoint 2013. The project was entrusted a team of specialists of Asteros Consulting, they performed all works within 36 working days.

Project Results

Using a corporate portal as the instrument of communications, management of the company brings information on managerial initiatives to all organizations of group, quickly receives a feedback and also estimates productivity of work both the whole divisions, and individual employees. Besides, based on Microsoft SharePoint the Performance Management system using which personnel efficiency evaluation in scales of the company is regularly carried out functions.
