"Ust-Luga company" controls fuel consumption in the company

On March 14, 2014 it became known of installation of the systems of satellite control SCOUT on railway transport of JSC Ust-Luga Company. Technical aspect of the project the company " performed 1C: The first BIT".

Project Tasks

"Ust-Luga company" implements a number of the directions of business focused on creation of the multifunction Sea trade port of Ust-Luga. Smoothly running work of locomotives is necessary for exact and high-quality work of port.

The location of transport of the company was controlled before on a radio communication. Periodic interruptions of contact with terminals and problems in work ^[1] nullified efficiency of elimination of hardware failures. The guide of the customer addressed to the company "1C: The first BIT" behind the technological solution.

Project Progress

Partners in the project made the decision on automation:

• monitoring of locomotives of the company using a fixed special equipment SCOUT;
• monitoring of leased locomotives using GPS sensors;
• control of fuel in locomotives.

By March 14, 2014 staff of the company "1C: The first BIT" installed the equipment on 14 locomotives:

• sensors of Omnicomm LLS 20160, LLS 20310 fuel and indicators of LLD fuel;

SEP PN tension transformer; GPS monitoring blocks SCOUT MT-600 STD, MT-600 Pro, GlobalSat TR151.

Project Results

• monitoring of location of transport is implemented;
• labor costs of managers and mechanics decreased;
• it is impossible to merge fuel uncontrolledly.
