On March 19, 2014 Fujitsu announced use of server solutions of the company for creation of architecture of vShape in Pharmasoft LLC. With integrator in the project the Inforada company worked.
Project Tasks
The Pharmasoft company was faced by problems of consolidation of the IT solutions, fast scaling in the long term of implementation of new services, their virtualizations, creations of scalable and flexible IT infrastructure, increase in system effectiveness according to the Green IT standards.
Having worked options, the company decided to virtualize IT infrastructure of the enterprise on Intel x86 platform. Relying on the recommendations of the system integrator, Inforada company, for creation of architecture selected the equipment taking into account requirements to performance, flexibility, fault tolerance and energy efficiency.
Project Progress
A system is implemented on the basis of servers Fujitsu PRIMERGY RX300 S7 DWH NetApp FAS2240, and also VMware vSphere v5 and the built-in module NetApp Virtual Storage Console.
Project Results
Use in the project of server solutions of Fujitsu PRIMERGY RX300 S7 increased fault tolerance of IT infrastructure, thereby protecting data of business applications. The server has the fast system of automatic recovery and flexible selection of available resources to services on demand.
In case of failures in functioning the storage system of Netapp FAS2240 protects valuable information resources, remotely copying data on other disk arrays.
The environment of virtualization VMware vSphere provides simple and effective resource management of network, storages and a security system. Within the project use of VMware vSphere technologies considerably facilitated administration of the physical systems and increased operational efficiency.
