2018: Automation of a number of Treasury functional units
On August 7, 2018, Consyst Business Group announced the completion of an automation project for a number of functional treasury units based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV in Hoffmann Professional Tool CJSC. According to the company, the implemented solution significantly increased the speed of documentation movement and allowed the company's financial service to abandon internal paper document management.
As reported, Consist Business Group and the Russian division of Hoffmann Professional Tool CJSC have been conducting many years of cooperation in the direction of optimizing business processes. Consyst Business Group specialists have implemented and are developing the Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system. As part of the development, it was decided to automate a number of functional units of the Treasury, in particular, the document flow of applications for payment and expenses. At the same time, development "from scratch" was not required for most tasks: "Consyst Business Group" offered a ready-made solution that met the customer's requirements. Modifications were required only in terms of requests for expenses due to the specifics of the business processes of Hoffmann Professional Tool CJSC.
According to company representatives, thanks to the implementation of functionality, communication between the company's divisions located in different cities has improved, and the processes of coordinating financial documents have been facilitated. Now Hoffmann employees can automatically submit and approve applications for payment and expenses through the ERP system, check their compliance with the budget. In addition to this, automation affected the formation of a cash flow budget for a calendar year and the execution of applications for payment and expense.
As a result of the project, Hoffmann optimized the accounting department in terms of processing bank statements, creating payment orders and conducting cost accounting operations. An additional advantage from the implementation was the automation of the cost write-off process. This allows you to clearly follow the regulations regarding the posting of expenses to cost items and cost centers adopted by the company, and quickly coordinate them with the financial service.

On May 28, 2014, LANIT announced the modernization of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV enterprise resource management system at Hoffmann Professional Tool.
Project objectives
The company's management faced the need to expand the functionality of the current ERP system, which required the support of the Russian legislative framework for the correct formation of accounting and tax reports.

Project progress
The transition to the new version of the ERP system is completed within eight months. The same amount was required for improvements in expanding the functionality. During this time, LANIT specialists analyzed the system capabilities used by Hoffmann Professional Tool, prepared proposals for optimizing business processes in the new system, developed a prototype, trained users and put the new version into operation.

As of May 28, 2014, 70 employees work in the system. Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 business applications facilitate the preparation of accounting, tax, management, personnel, payroll.
Hoffmann Professional Tool took advantage of the advanced capabilities of the system to improve the functionality in terms of shipment of sets of products, the formation of an "inextricable" package of shipping documents, accounting for shortages, reservation procedures and other operational processes.
