DESCRIPTION OF A SYSTEM

In 2008 the company management of PJSC Ukrtatnafta made the decision on replacement of the existing laboratory information system. As the new platform for creation LIMS (laboratory information management system) the packet of I-LDS (Laboratory Data System) of IndaSoft company was selected.

Implementation of I-LDS covered all research divisions of the enterprise:

• Research laboratory;
• Gas-catalytic laboratory;
• Fuel laboratory;
• Laboratory of oils;
• MTBE laboratory;
• Laboratory of workshop No. 15;
• Laboratory of workshop No. 13;
• Bureau on fight against corrosion.

Tools for viewing results of laboratory researches are installed in all divisions of PJSC Ukrtatnafta. Now in a system 250 workers are configured places. At the same time in LIMS 100–130 users can work.

On average per day in a system about 600 tests from which about 100 – according to requests from operators of installations are registered. The methodical base contains 320 techniques of accomplishment of measurements and 206 specifications of products. More than 10,000 points of the diagram of analytical control are brought to LIMS.

THE TASKS SOLVED AS A RESULT OF IMPLEMENTATION OF PIM

• Organization of primary accounting of results of laboratory researches:
  • maintaining the normative reference information providing process of accomplishment of laboratory researches, setup of techniques of accomplishment of measurements, configuring of algorithms of calculation; formation of the diagram of analytical control;
  • the organization of data acquisition from the laboratory equipment (chromatographs: A crystal-5000, the Crystal - the 2000th, Trace GC 2000, Herzog HAD and dr, – only more than 30 types of the equipment);
  • integration of results of laboratory researches into the enterprise information system organized on the basis of PI System. At the moment in PI-System 1600 running figures of merit on process systems register.
• Providing results of laboratory researches to all interested specialists:
  • formation of the analytical reporting: about 40 different types of reports are configured;
  • organization of jobs of viewing results of laboratory researches: a possibility of operational tracking of results in the form of tables and diagrams, viewing reports.
• Element marked a spiskaformirovaniye of passports and quality certificates of products based on laboratory researches:
  • setup of required forms of output documents;
  • integration with external systems: obtaining information on agreements from sales office.
• The regulations of work with LIMS are developed and signed. It is approved and signed "The list of official structural divisions of PJSC Ukrtatnafta, the fulfilling duties using the software of the laboratory information system I-LDS".

FEATURES OF IMPLEMENTATION
The main part of works on system implementation was executed by own forces of PJSC Ukrtatnafta. At the initial stage of implementation specialists of technical department of the customer carried out standardization of all normative reference information used in research divisions (the used number of indicators decreased since 2000 to 500). And then, jointly with specialists of management of information technologies, carried out initial configuring of I-LDS. Specialists IndaSoft were involved on setup of a system only as consultants. Presence of own qualified developers in division of information technology management of JSC Ukrtatnafta allowed to develop new functional units in I-LDS and to implement them within the project.
