History

2020: Participation in the development of two national standards for data centers

On February 19, 2020, Rosstandart's orders approved two national standards in the field of data centers. This was announced to TAdviser on February 28, 2020 by Media Grus. The standards were developed by the Association of Data Center Industry Participants. 2019: Ministry of Emergency Situations license

DataDome received a license from the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the installation, maintenance and repair of fire safety equipment for buildings and structures. The obtained license enables DataDome specialists to implement a wider range of work on the installation and maintenance of engineering systems of data centers, communication nodes, server rooms, business centers and warehouses.

In March 2019, the integrator of engineering systems DataDome received a license from the Ministry of Emergencies for the installation, maintenance, repair, dispatching and commissioning of: fire extinguishing systems and their elements; fire and security and fire alarm systems and their components; fire water supply systems and their components; automatic systems (elements of automatic systems) of smoke ventilation; warning and evacuation systems in case of fire and their elements; photoluminescent evacuation systems and their elements; fire curtains and curtains.

In addition, the license allows installation, maintenance and repair of openings in fire barriers, as well as work on fire protection of materials, products and structures.

2000-2004

The DataDome project acquired its current name in 2004.

The DataDome project was created on the slice of several technological disciplines. Its founders are heads of companies of various industries: Information Technologies, Telecommunications, Engineering Systems of Buildings and Structures.

The project began in 2000 as an association of project managers of several companies, including employees of the Russian office of Cable & Wireless, and Aerotherm.

The first result of the joint activity is a Cable & Wireless communication node in Nikitsky Lane, Moscow, launched in August 2000. Cable & Wireless Node, Nikitsky 5.
