As a representative of one of the largest airport holdings in Russia told RBC, 100% of the shares of the UK "Airports of the Regions" belong to the company "Retrans." Retrans, in turn, is owned by the former top manager of Renova Vladimir Rezer (90%) and the management of Airports of Regions Management Company (10%), he added. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, until recently, Airports of the Regions belonged to Renova through Cyprus-based Fulgate Consultants Limited. The company "Retrans" with an authorized capital of 3 million rubles was created on December 31, 2019, at that time Reser owned 10% directly, and another 90% - his company "RE-Finance."

The representative of Renova stressed that the air harbors remained in the ownership of the company. There are no plans to sell airports. The team of key managers bought the management company, which continued to manage the airports owned by Renova.

According to VTB Capital transport analyst Elena Sakhnova, the sale of the management company to Reser and management is an internal transaction that "could pass at any price." The cost of the management company itself is insignificant, its main value is airport management. Together with airports, its cost can reach up to $1 billion, Sakhnova added.

By December 2021, the Airports of the Regions holding includes five international airports - in, Yekaterinburg,, and To Samara Nizhny Novgorod Rostov-on-Don Saratov. In addition, the management company is engaged in the modernization of the airports of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Novy Urengoy. According to the estimates of the management company, in 2019, passenger traffic at airports under its management amounted to 15.5 million passengers. In 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, this COVID-19 number decreased to 9.7 million people.[1]
