The Life group completed system implementation of management of basic data on clients

On March 2, 2015 the Oracle company announced implementation of the Oracle Master Data Management platform in infrastructure of Life Financial Group (head bank - Probusinessbank).

Project Tasks

At the beginning of 2013 FG Life announced the tender for works on deployment of a management system for handbook data. The competitive offer of OTR company with the Oracle Master Data Management platform including the tools necessary for the solution of a task is selected. At the heart of the solution Oracle Customer Hub. The solution Oracle Enterprise Data Quality implementing the best approaches to standardization, comparison, deduplication, cleaning and data analysis is responsible for maintenance of quality of data. Difficult the politician and processing rules of data is responsible for accomplishment to Oracle Policy Automation.

Project Progress

Undertook preparation of target architecture and implementation the contractor - OTR company together with experts of Oracle in business applications. Implementation took place in three stages.

In the beginning consolidation of the first five reference books is carried out (employees, territories, structure, etc.).

The second phase affected consolidation and implementation of the most important and difficult reference books containing data on clients.

The third stage – implementation of the remained reference books (on currencies, a rate, the list of products, etc.).

"At system implementation of management of basic data it is always necessary to consider need of integration with third-party services. The Oracle Master Data Management platform allows to create, support and use the checked, allowing joint works, basic data on objects and subjects with which the bank deals", – Alexey Gazikov, the vice president, the department director the practician of application solutions of OTR company reported.

FG Life integrated the available technology park on a single platform of a binding layer Oracle Fusion Middleware, increased availability and performance of databases due to use of Oracle Real Application Clusters, an option DBMS Oracle Database. Such approach guarantees full compatibility of systems, simplifies support and reduces total ownership cost.

Project Results

Using Oracle Master Data Management the customer managed to consolidate information which is stored in 32 reference books presented in 239 copies and 25 systems.

The complexity is that reference books are submitted by the layered attributive design having discrepancies in the different systems. Client data could be duplicated, have different degree of relevance.

For March 2, 2015 in banks of Group the single system of management of handbook data containing the most complete and up-to-date information works.

Often there are situations when the bank does not know what to offer the client. For example, expanded list of products or more flexible conditions on insurance.
