April 16, 2015. The 1C-Rarus company announced project completion of complex automation of branch of the international industrial company "Trelleborg Automotiv", based on "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management".
Choosing a Solution
The management of the Trelleborg group made the decision on creation of an information system which would allow to strengthen control of activity of Trelleborg Automotiv, to increase effective management of branch and to provide quick reaction on change of external economic environment. The company the solution which allowed English-speaking managers to work with data was required, at the same time fulfilling all requirements to accounting from the Russian legislation.
"Trelleborg Automotiv" selected the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management software product including the possibility of use of the English-language interface and all tools necessary for the solution of assigned tasks from cooperation with the Nizhny Novgorod branch "1C-Rarus". The project of complex automation was implemented in 5 months, 12 jobs are automated.
Key results of the project
- Operational production accounting is organized. Business week of the shift foreman begins with start of a system where in the workplace he sees an outstanding part of the production plan for the current week and issues tasks for production with indication of the specific contractor and work center. Production plans are implemented now with higher quality and quickly.
- A system allows to control and analyze the total amount of release on each employee and an item of equipment and also the volume of the received defects that already allowed to reduce losses from defects by 5%. There was an opportunity to estimate planned and actual efficiency of change and the specific employee and also use of the equipment. This information is applied to calculation of KPI in the system of motivation of personnel that promotes increase in employee performance.
- Using a system payment schedules taking into account individual conditions of settlement for each partner quickly form. It helps to control approach of payment due dates under agreements. The value of receivables was significantly reduced.
- Work with orders of buyers is optimized. The manufacturing plants of vehicles post orders for auto parts on the websites where the name of the nomenclature, the required number of spare parts, delivery dates is specified. Earlier the staff of Trelleborg Automotiv manually kept account of these data that often led to errors. Now all orders from the websites are unloaded in spreadsheets and automatically loaded in an information system. It allowed to accelerate twice order processing, to exclude errors at their formation, to strengthen terms of their accomplishment.
- Operational serial accounting of raw materials which expiration dates, on average, make 1 month is organized. Control of a raw materials holiday in production is strengthened. The losses connected with utilization of raw materials expired are reduced by 20%. The amount of production scrap was reduced by 5%. The company could guarantee to the buyers high quality of products.
Result
The information system created on the basis of the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" using the English-language interface helped to organize rational production management, to quickly create sales plans and productions, it is correct to calculate materials requirement. Formation of the management reporting is simplified. Serial accounting of raw materials in a warehouse is adjusted, control of a raw materials holiday in production is strengthened. As a result losses from defects are reduced by 5%, the efficiency of use of raw materials increased by 20%, processing orders of buyers more than twice accelerated, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.
Tishkina Galina Viktorovna, the chief accountant of Trelleborg Automotiv, notes:
- Intensive development of the enterprise resulted in need of upgrade of an old information system. We needed to increase production efficiency at the expense of cost optimization and their decrease, thoroughly to handle a material accounting issue according to expiration dates since due to the lack of due control we suffered serious costs. It was required to adjust the transparent automated production accounting completely to avoid paper work and to reduce influence of a human factor. Also we needed to have a possibility of the detailed analysis of development on each employee to correct the system of motivation.

- The 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management system organized work with the single database for all main divisions of the company. It allows the management to obtain quickly the necessary information and to estimate all current changes in business. English-speaking managers can be connected far off to a system at any moment and obtain necessary data, working in the English-language interface. Time spent for drawing up the monthly management reporting was reduced twice. It allowed heads and the staff of the company to concentrate the efforts not on data acquisition, and on their analysis and the solution of business challenges. In a difficult economic situation it is very important to work on increase in profitability of business. The created information system allowed us to make products cost accounting completely transparent and also to optimize costs on positions with low profitability. We can note increase in efficiency of the enterprise after implementation of the software product for 10%.
