2025: Implementation of InStock WMS in a warehouse in the Moscow Region

AvtoHIT Trading House LLC turned to InStock Technologies specialists to implement a warehouse logistics management system at its warehouse in the Moscow Region. This is the second warehouse of the company that is managed by InStock WMS. This was announced to InStock Technologies on March 19, 2025.

AvtoHIT Trading House LLC is dedicated to the wholesale and retail sale of auto parts, auto components, consumables and components for cars and trucks, as well as commercial vehicles.

Product processing in the warehouse of auto parts with use WMS has a number of features due to the nature of the products, assortment and requirements for the speed of order processing. The WMS must effectively manage this diversity and ensure the reliability of accounting for each SKU. Due to its large assortment, WMS must optimize the placement of goods in stock, taking into account their characteristics and uses, in order to minimize search and sourcing time.

The warehouse complex in the Moscow region of AvtoHIT Trading House LLC has an area of ​ ​ 3000 m2 and is equipped with front racks and a three-story mezzanine. Before implementation, InStock Technologies specialists studied the features of goods stored in stock and the organization of commodity movement. It was required to establish placement processes, to ensure the speed of single sampling on the mezzanine and in other zones. To optimize storage and processing in the project, all goods are divided into groups. For each group of goods in the WMS at the stage of the technical assignment, the rules for placement, storage and selection are prescribed. InStock WMS manages warehouse processes from acceptance to shipment. Control operations with InStock WMS ensured the accuracy of shipments without re-ordering.

From March 1, 2025, the mandatory marking of the Honest Sign for Engine Oils was launched, and from April 1, 2026, the initial registration of these goods will begin with the transfer of this to the Honest Sign system. InStock WMS has the necessary functionality for instance accounting in a warehouse of goods with Mandatory Labeling brands.

As a result of the introduction of InStock WMS into the warehouse of AvtoHIT Trading House LLC, an accurate accounting of a large assortment of goods was provided, a regular inventory was established, and the warehouse was ready to work with mandatory labeling.
