"Hibinsky Road Service" implemented the Omnicomm system

June 18, 2015. The Omnicomm company announced system implementation of monitoring of Omnicomm transport in Hibinsky Road Service (CDU LLC) company.

Project Progress

In 2014 the company management of CDU LLC made the decision on replacement of the monitoring system of transport and control of fuel consumption existing at the enterprise on Omnicomm. The need for retrofitting of earlier used system was caused by a number of factors - frequent failures of the equipment and a big error of transmitted data. In July of last year mounting works of the Omnicomm system on specialized transport of "Hibinsky Road Service" began. In 3 months partners works on retrofitting of all vehicle fleet of the enterprise were fully completed. Equipment installation was made by the dealer of Omnicomm GLONASS Omnikomm company.

Result

After equipment of the park of CDU LLC the Omnicomm system implemented the program for cutting of costs for fuel. Within the project in the company the working group on monitoring of transport and control of fuel consumption into which 4 specialists in monitoring of transport and heads of divisions of CDU LLC entered was created. Their tasks include daily monitoring of vehicles, identification of plunders of fuel and inappropriate use of the equipment and also observance of the high-speed modes and traffic regulations, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

The solution on system implementation of Omnicomm was commented by the deputy CEO of CDU LLC Alexander Aleksandrovich Spirkin: "There is a wish to note that for us it was very important to find not only the high-precision and reliable equipment, but also and universal, suitable for all types of vehicles. In our company the very different equipment is both loaders, and dump trucks of different brands, buses, the road-building equipment, career dump trucks, fuelers and the bulldozer equipment".

"In the course of work of group on monitoring of transport we of course meet certain difficulties, such as personnel resistance. Drivers tried to put the equipment out of action, used devices on muffling of a signal from onboard terminals, interfered with the fuel systems of motor transport for the purpose of intended increase in fuel consumption. Despite this equipment Omnicomm helped to optimize work on control and operation of transport. Drainings, and were revealed and excluded afterwards and incomplete fillings on refueling stations, are considerably reduced fuel consumption rates. Also we excluded unauthorized runs and optimized routes and diagrams of drivers. By estimation with the Omnicomm system we achieved cost reduction more than for 20%, i.e. on one passable kilometer or the engine hour fulfilled by the engine less fuel is spent for 20%, than was during the work of a former system. If to recalculate economy in money, then these are about 10 million rubles of economy in 4 months of operation", - Alexander Aleksandrovich added.
