Survey123 is mobile application for data collection in field conditions.
On July 15, 2015 the Esri CIS company announced availability to users of GIS technologies around the world of free mobile application for data collection in field conditions – Survey123.
Software developers are the specialists in geoinformation technologies of Esri creating "niche" GIS products for the ArcGIS platform.

Collection of data on events in the application, is conducted by filling of forms questionnaires on the mobile device. Then data accumulate in ArcGIS Online, and further it is possible to work with them in ArcGIS for Desktop, ArcGIS Online and other applications of ArcGIS. To software of Survey123 it is available to Windows platforms, Android and iOS.
For use of Surevey123 application the organization should have a subscription to ArcGIS Online (the accounts ArcGIS Online are necessary, as for the publication of services and polling forms, and for identification of the users collecting data).
Forms for mobile application are created on the basis of the XLSForm standard. This standard allows setup of dependence of display of the following questions on answers to the previous questions, setup of lists of possible answers, etc. Investments (for example, photos) and editing the connected tables are supported.
