Major changes:

Android document editing app update

On June 19, 2018, it became known that the ONLYOFFICE developers released the next version of the mobile application for Android with the ability to edit text documents, tables and presentations. Earlier, the ONLYOFFICE Documents 2.0 application successfully passed the open beta testing stage, which was attended by 1350 people from different countries, including Russia, the USA, France, Germany, Spain and Brazil.

Compared to the previous version of the application, in which users could only view documents, the capabilities of the beta version are much wider: now you can edit documents in it and work on them together in real time. It became possible to share files with colleagues, providing a different level of access rights - only for viewing, reviewing and editing.

As of June 19, 2018, to work with the application, you must have a registered portal ONLYOFFICE - free personal or corporate in the public cloud/private network. In the future, it is planned to add the ability to work offline with local documents.

Another important innovation was the document review mode. A user who has received the rights of a reviewer can check the text, correct errors and change sentences without editing the document itself. Mobile application for iOS devices

On November 12, 2015, Ascensio System SIA, an office software company, launched an updated version of OnlyOffice Documents 1.2, an application for iOS devices for working with documents on the OnlyOffice portal at any time, regardless of location.

On November 18, Ascensio System SIA announced the release of Onlyoffice Enterprise Edition, a multifunctional platform for collaboration, document management, projects, customer relationships and mail. In order to improve the security of sensitive data, Ascensio System SIA provides users with the ability to deploy the ONLYOFFICE platform on their own enterprise server using one of the solution options: a Docker container or virtual machines (VirtualBox, VMware, Hyper-V) with a pre-installed ONLYOFFICE web office.

OnlyOffice Enterprise Edition includes the functionality of the previously available open version of OnlyOffice, including all ONLYOFFICE modules and tools, and also provides access to additional functions, such as a control panel with a set of tools for automating the configuration process, personalizing the web office and ensuring data security: HTTPS protocol with support, enciphering LDAP for authentications users on the portal, backup and recovery of data, automatic updates. In addition, the administrator has the ability to track the history of login and user actions committed on the portal.

The innovations also affected online document editors. OnlyOffice Document Editors 3.5 with the server part ID on Node.JS has features such as mail merge, Text Art, named ranges, the ability to add/remove/change available styles.

The developers note that the unique OnlyOffice Enterprise Edition makes it possible to completely rebrand the product using the company logo.
