2023: OnlyOffice DocumentServer 7.4.0

Major changes:

OnlyOffice Projects for iOS

Android document editing app update
On June 19, 2018, it became known that the ONLYOFFICE developers released the next version of the mobile application for Android with the ability to edit text documents, tables and presentations. Earlier, the ONLYOFFICE Documents 2.0 application successfully passed the open beta testing stage, which was attended by 1350 people from different countries, including Russia, the USA, France, Germany, Spain and Brazil.
Compared to the previous version of the application, in which users could only view documents, the capabilities of the beta version are much wider: now you can edit documents in it and work on them together in real time. It became possible to share files with colleagues, providing a different level of access rights - only for viewing, reviewing and editing.
As of June 19, 2018, to work with the application, you must have a registered portal ONLYOFFICE - free personal or corporate in the public cloud/private network. In the future, it is planned to add the ability to work offline with local documents.
In addition, through the application, you can edit documents that are stored in third-party cloud storage - for example, on Google Drive or Yandex.Disk. To do this, cloud storage must be connected to the ONLYOFFICE portal, which can be done right in the application.
5.1 Desktop Editors Interface Update
Ascensio System announced on May 31, 2018 that the Onlyoffice desktop application for working with text documents, tables and presentations has acquired an updated interface, previously available only in the online version. The tools are now grouped into thematic tabs for more intuitive navigation.

Release 9.6
On March 23, 2018, Ascensio System announced the release of Onlyoffice's cloud office version 9.6, adding the ability to connect two plugins to document editors: EasyBib and WordPress.
In the text editor, it became possible to work with the library and automatically draw up reference lists in full accordance with the selected standard. The EasyBib plugin allows you to add accurate links to the sources used - books, articles and websites, which, first of all, saves time on quoting them.
It became possible to publish the finished material directly from the online editor. Onlyoffice The plugin makes it easy and convenient to add content to your site in WordPress. Opening Source Code
On July 7, 2016, Ascencio System announced the discovery of the source code for the latest version of the Onlyoffice cloud service, which provides advanced collaboration capabilities previously available only to users of the company's commercial products.

"Quick joint editing is convenient for joint idea development, brainstorming, when the document does not require general styles for formatting, and the work itself is aimed at quick exchange of ideas and their development," comments Anna Medvedeva, head of the OnlyOffice design department.
According to her, the "strict" regime, in turn, is suitable for more thoughtful work on documents. "It allows you to make your edits without someone else's intervention, calmly throw draft versions and turn them into a final document, without distracting from the work of colleagues who do not receive notifications about intermediate changes to the file at this time," explains the head of the design department.
Another important innovation was the document review mode. A user who has received the rights of a reviewer can check the text, correct errors and change sentences without editing the document itself. In turn, the author of the document can track edits, as well as accept and reject changes proposed by reviewers.

Mobile application for iOS devices
On November 12, 2015, Ascensio System SIA, an office software company, launched an updated version of OnlyOffice Documents 1.2, an application for iOS devices for working with documents on the OnlyOffice portal at any time, regardless of location.
