EMC Federation Enterprise Hybrid Cloud

At the end of August, 2015 the joint business divisions EMC Federation provided updates of the solution Federation Enterprise Hybrid Cloud and announced release of a new solution of EMC Federation for end users. Thanks to integration of the equipment, the software and services of division of EMC Information Infrastructure (EMC II), VMware and VCE the solution Federation Enterprise Hybrid Cloud integrates in itself advantages of a private and public cloud. It also does possible setup of applications and resources according to the service levels based on the politician. In general, deployment of Federation Enterprise Hybrid Cloud allows to increase efficiency of traditional functions and workflows of IT, in certain cases providing cost reduction on IT to $50 million in five years. Having set a new solution of EMC Federation for end users, customers get all advantages of the integrated and validirovanny solution which is created for simplification and maintenance of infrastructure of virtual work places (VDI).

The solution Federation Enterprise Hybrid Cloud in which it is enclosed by several thousand working hours of engineers represents the engineering solution which can be unrolled in only 28 days. It helps the organizations to increase efficiency of traditional IT processes and transactions, at the same time significantly reducing risks and reducing IT infrastructure operating costs. Solution components of Federation Enterprise Hybrid Cloud.

• Expanded support of platforms which includes new features VMware NSX of solutions 6.2 VMware Integrated OpenStack (VIO), VMware vRealize Operations VMware vSphere 6.1 and 6, including broader network services and services of security, the increased scalability and a possibility of accomplishment of uninterrupted online migration of workloads.
• Independent change of services of data security. EMC Federation for end users

The alliance EMC Federation also announced in the summer of 2015 release of the first of family of new solutions EMC Federation for end users which will help to simplify providing jobs and applications and will support work from hundreds to thousands of end users. The initial solution will include all necessary integrated equipment and software which will provide secure access to virtual work places, applications and data of end users at any time and from any point. Besides, the packet includes professional services of EMC and VMware on installation and support with a uniform contact point. Customers will be able to select at discretion deployment option (including a possibility of integration in the existing infrastructure) and to use the solution of EMC Federation Enterprise Hybrid Cloud for support practically to any IT strategy.

Infrastructure of storage will be optimized so that images of virtual work places were placed in EMC XtremIO array, and data of end users — in storage system of EMC VNX and EMC Isilon. The solution will include VMware Horizon and also the directory of services for self-service, function of automation of IT and monitoring of activity of users to make work of IT service of more operational and to increase the level of satisfaction of end users. The solution EMC Federation for end users will be purposefully delivered by participants of EMC Federation.
