2024: EAEU Certificates of Conformity on the EG-MT Fort-112 model

Electric luxury, premium hybrid and new heavy tractors enter the Russian market with ERA-GLONASS terminals from Fort Telecom, which announced this on March 12, 2024.

Since the beginning of 2024, Fort Telecom has received certificates of conformity EEU for emergency call devices (UVEOS) for 4 cars and 2 trucks cars that enter the Russian market.

All of them will be equipped with ERA GLONASS terminals of the EG-MT FORT-112 model. These are devices of the ERA 2 + generation, which, depending on the settings, can perform the functions of UEOC or satellite navigation equipment (ASN), which allows, based on standard terminals, to implement functions for remote control, protection and management of the fleet.

Among the cars that passed certification at the beginning of the year, two hybrid models of the Seres Aito (the automotive direction of the tech giant Huawei) are the premium M5 crossover and the M7 business class SUV.

Two more models are being launched by the Hongqi brand, known as the manufacturer of government limousines for the leadership of the People's Republic of China. Certificates were received by the subcompact luxury crossover Hongqi HS3, as well as the flagship of the Hongqi E-HS9 brand - an all-electric luxury SUV, which the media dubbed the Chinese Rolls Royce.

In the segment of freight transport, 2 truck tractors have passed certification with Fort Telecom devices: the premiere of the Russian market CAMC H9, and the already high position FAW with the J7 tractor, which the manufacturer positions as a replacement for the G7 trucks.

The Russian market is attractive for automakers in almost all segments. This was noticeable throughout 2023. For the Chinese auto industry, Russia has become the No. 1 foreign market, and competition for its share continues to grow. The number of requests from new brands signals that the growth trend will continue in 2024. To meet demand, we have tripled the production of terminals, and in addition to UVEOS functionality, we now offer the functions of Connected Car and Telematics (Connectivity) as part of a standard device, adapting the solution for each automaker, "said Vladimir Makarenko, Development Director of Fort Telecom.

The company recalled that at the end of 2023, Fort Telecom tripled the production of ERA GLONASS terminals - up to 110 thousand units.

Fort Telecom in 2015 was the first to receive a certificate for the ERA GLONASS device, and in 2018 it was the first to receive an ASN certificate for them.

2016: Certificate for Scania R-series car

On November 16, 2016, Fort Telecom announced the certification of the ERA-GLONASS emergency call device. The certificate was received by the Scania R-series truck.

Scania R-series, (2015)

Fort Telecom took part in the ERA-GLONASS project in the summer of 2014. As part of crash tests of cars with the FORT-112 EG terminal on board, at the NAMI training ground, the company got the opportunity to test the operation of equipment on real cars.

On October 1, 2015, at the International Congress ERA-GLONASS"" the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin presented the company with Fort Telecom the first certificate for the device. ERA-GLONASS The first car equipped with a production terminal Fort Telecom was the commercial Iveco Daily minibus.

Since October 2015, the company Fort Telecom has continuously conducted tests for type approval of a vehicle ERA-GLONASS with a terminal of its own production. These were tests of cars for the operation of emergency call equipment in automatic mode with front and side impacts, trucks and buses - in manual mode. Over the year, Daewoo, DAF, FAW,, Fiat MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Changan and Volvo others have passed certification with the FORT-112 EG device.

The 30th vehicle tested for type approval with the EG FORT-112 device is the Scania R-series truck.

Within the framework of the internal procurement policy of our company, a serious selection of suppliers is regulated. Fort Telecom has passed control and established itself as a reliable partner. The qualified personnel of the company were always attentive to all our wishes, the employees helped at the tests. Thanks to the right approach, all tasks were solved on time, I especially want to note technical support, although force majeure situations occurred. I hope that the 30th certificate is not the limit.

Fort-112 EG Product Certified

On November 6, 2015, Fort Telecom announced that it had received a certificate for the ERA-GLONASS emergency call system with the determination of the severity of an accident using built-in[1] sensors[1].

Testing was carried out by installing the ERA GLONASS emergency call system Fort-112 EG was installed on two Changan CS35 vehicles for testing lateral and frontal strikes in accordance with UNECE Rules No. 94 and 95 at the FSUE NAMI training ground.

The EG Fort-112 system as part of cars determined the fact of an accident using built-in sensors.

"As far
as I know, Fort-112 EG is the only certified terminal today that determines the severity of an accident completely autonomously using built-in sensors. The peculiarity of such a system is that we do not need to interfere with the standard safety systems of the car. This greatly simplifies the process of system integration and car certification, - said Vladimir Makarenko, Development Director of Fort Telecom. - The Changan CS35 car, in turn, presents a unique case - the automaker not only chose the full set of equipment from Fort Telecom, but also integrated it into the design of the car's dashboard. The speaker fits organically into the design of the top of the instrument panel, and the user interface unit fits into the panel behind the gear selector. "

The composition of the line of terminals

As of November 2015, the line includes the following terminals:

  • Fort-112
  • Fort-112 3G
  • Fort-112 EG
  • Fort-112 EX

Fort-112 Terminal (2013)

The terminals were developed taking into account the requirements of Order No. 285 of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the ERA-GLONASS system. All terminals on the FORT-112 platform support work in the EGTS protocol.

Fort-112 terminals include all the necessary functionality that meets the latest requirements of the regulatory and legislative framework. The development of the units took into account the experience, opinions and wishes of dozens of equipment integrators [Fort Telecom], as well as the experience of integrators representing the interests of other manufacturers of transport monitoring systems.

Production and reliability

FORT-112 has a wide range of input voltage and withstands short-term throws up to 600 V, which meets the requirements of No. 285 of the Federal Law of the Russian Federation and increases the fault tolerance of the equipment. In addition, all terminals of the FORT series are equipped with an intelligent heating system that allows you to use equipment in harsh conditions.

The production and assembly of terminals operate in Perm at the production facilities of Fort Telecom.
