Minizdrav the Sakhalin region organized the central archive of medical images

On December 24, 2014 the Softline company announced the project custom-made by representative offices in Yekaterinburg and Khabarovsk of the Ministry of Health of the Sakhalin region using solutions of Philips.

Project Results

By June 17, 2015 the Philips company equipped medical institutions of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk with the systems of expert processing of clinical data Philips IntelliSpace Portal and Philips IntelliSpace PACS.

Technologies helped to create the central archive of medical images (CAMI) by means of which it is possible to manage and exchange clinical data, to distribute work between specialists of the region, to make more available rendering high-quality medical care within the region.

The Consulting and diagnostic downtown of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the Sakhalin regional oncological clinic and the Sakhalin regional hospital are connected to TsAMI for November 24, 2015.

Specialists of Softline carried out implementation, trained medical and technical specialists in work with a hardware and software system. A system is replicated on other medical institutions of the city.

Dmitry Pshekarsky managing department of radiodiagnosis of KDTs of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk noted:

"The created system gave the chance to reduce the number of repeated appointments to inspection that reduced costs of patients for treatment. It was succeeded to increase efficiency of loading of the diagnostic equipment, and at the expense of a possibility of remote consultations capacity of departments of radiodiagnosis increased".

With emergence in physicians of the IntelliSpace PACS DCX system the quality and possibilities of visualization improved, the accuracy of the conclusions increased. It became simpler to find data of researches as at one workstation the possibility of viewing mammography, KT, MPT and radiological researches appeared. These data are stored more than 5 years. At the expense of the unified solution medical institutions managed to optimize capital costs of acquisition of workstations and operating rooms - on service and advanced training of specialists. ​​
