As LG Electronics used the UPS from Delta Electronics

On November 26, 2015 the Delta Electronics company announced implementation of uninterruptible power supply unit of DPH Series of 75 kVA at the LG Electronics plant in the Moscow region. The project is executed with assistance of Tempesto company.

Project Tasks

The UPS installation to the server room is a part of the project on expansion of production capacities for LG Electronics Rus. The company built the body in the territory of the plant in the Moscow region.

From department of information technologies, in addition to creation of infrastructure in the building, transfer of DPC of the plant in it was planned. The former premises built in 2006 contained a number of shortcomings and did not conform to the changing requirements. Nevertheless, it should save a part of functions and transfer of the engineering systems to other premises it was impossible.

One of the key engineering systems of DPC - the system of regular power supply. The continuity of the main business of processes of the company depends on its work.

Entered a circle of the tasks facing the customer by the time of the choice of system provider of uninterrupted power:

• start of DPC at the scheduled time,
• project implementation within the planned budget,
• ensuring necessary capacities for start business and IT systems in the next 5-10 years,
• their protection against possible effects at emergence of problems with power supply.

At a stage of selection of the equipment solutions of market leaders and the UPS model of Delta Electronics – DPH Series and NH Series were considered.

Contributing factors for benefit of the choice of the solution Delta DPH Series of 75 kVA became: performance guarantee of the standing tasks, compliance of the price and product quality, competence of the company integrator and support of the equipment after installation.

Implementation, including supply of equipment took about 8 weeks.

- The uninterruptible power supply unit of DPH Series of 75 kVA from Delta Electronics provides regular power supply and power distribution for new DPC of the plant of the company. The solution DPH allowed us to avoid unnecessary costs and not to create an excess stock on power upon purchase of a source, at the same time the UPS this model provides an excellent opportunity for further expansion. We could keep within operational requirements of the new building and save the useful area of DPC.
