Motility: Game nozzles for children's prostheses

Game nozzles for children's prostheses - the project of the help to the children who lost a hand.

On December 3, 2015 the Motorika company, a startup of the Tomsk nanotechnology center RUSNANO, announced preparation for release of a series of game nozzles for children's prostheses. They will help the children who lost a hand to adapt to life with a prosthesis.

In plans of the company to do eight types of nozzles – from a slingshot and a compass to the quadcopter with the control panel on the prosthesis back.

"Motility" is engaged in developments in the field of prosthetics of hands since 2013. In the spring of 2015 the company received the certificate on an active traction prosthesis of a brush and for December, 2015 such prosthesis can be received free of charge according to the social program. In the winter of 2015-2016 it is going to test a multifunction bionic prosthesis.

Ilya Cech, the company executive, said:

- Our purpose – return of a possibility of full-fledged life to people with an injury of upper extremities. It and the solution of a question of availability of prostheses, opportunities to receive them is free in the regional centers of prosthetics, and change of the relation to a prosthesis, as to an interesting hi-tech product, the wearable gadget with additional opportunities.

Brush prosthesis for the child of 5 years

For fund raising on creation of game nozzles for children developers started a kraundfandingovy campaign on the Planeta.ru platform and for December 3, 2015 collected more than 160 thousand rubles. Money will go for release of nozzles and their installation on children's prostheses. Children will receive nozzles free of charge together with a prosthesis.
