By 2019 Rosatom together with Rosgeo is going to create software for search of hydrocarbons under the name "Geoplatforma". About it in February, 2016 the director of VNIIEFValentin Kostyukov at a meeting told about the Russian information and supercomputer technologies with Dmitry Medvedev's participation, follows from the materials published on the website of the government.
The amount of financing for creation of the platform in Rosatom was estimated at 2.21 billion rubles. From them 2.03 billion rubles are means from the federal budget, and developers are ready to invest 180 million rubles.
The project is started with the purpose to provide the Russian prospecting and oil-and-gas production enterprises with the domestic software product for a full stroke of exploration works: from design of field works to assessment of stocks and development of fields.
The CEO of Rosgeo Roman Panov at a meeting with Medvedev noted what up to 90% of the profile software is actually substituted by foreign producers, first of all the American companies. The prime import vendors of such software are Schlumberger,Halliburton, Roxar, CGG, INova, Sercel.
The price should become one of advantages of the Russian platform over import products: developers estimate previously the cost of one license Geoplatforma approximately at 5 million rubles while on import software bring digit approximately into 17 million rubles.
During use of Geoplatforma at the enterprises creation of the centralized database of analysis results and interpretation of the Russian fields is planned. It will allow to eliminate risk of loss of sensitive inventory information of the Russian fields which exists when using the foreign software products, according to provided at a meeting with Medvedev.
By 2025, by calculations of Rosatom and Rosgeo, it will be possible to implement 76 licenses of the platform. Along with sales of licenses of new software with its use it is going to provide geophysical services to the companies. In August, 2014 the USA imposed sanctions concerning supplies of equipment and technologies for an oil sector of Russia. Prohibition concerned such equipment as drilling platforms, parts for horizontal drilling, the underwater equipment, the sea equipment for work in the conditions of the Arctic, the software for hydraulic fracturing of layer (GRP), remotely-controlled submersibles and pumps of high pressure. Under prohibition the data used for the specified types of oil production including – the data of the seismic analysis used when developing fields of hydrocarbons also got.
