On June 10, 2016 the Tibbo Systems company announced project completion on system implementation of condition monitoring and storage conditions of sugar beet for Rusagro Kompaniya Tibbo Systems group[1].
Project Task
Sugar beet before sending to production is stored on a kagatny field — the open concreted area separated into kagata (kagat — the raw materials laid in the form of the extended pyramid truncated on top).
Advertizing of Rusagro company, (2016)
The control system and condition monitoring of the environment of storage of raw materials on a kagatny field was required for customer company.
Project Progress
Specialists of the contractor created the project, the hierarchical treelike field-kagat-section model with a set of the attributes describing a status of each object of model and a set of business rules for data processing.
Especially for this project designed measuring devices in the form of the bar supplied with the temperature sensors located at three different levels on height: pressure, humidity and concentration of a carbon dioxide gas (CO2) and also the sensor GPS/GLONASS, transferring information on fix-up values of the measuring device. These devices distributed on sections of a kagatny field.
The AggreGate system was integrated with the operating BI systems and an online service of weather for data access about real values of ambient temperature, humidity, etc., to forecasts. It allowed to add information collected from field sensors.
Project Results
By means of AggreGate IoT Platform, from all data array, collected from different sources, became possible to determine crucial values, such as storage life of raw materials taking into account a weather forecast, a trend of content of sugar in beet on the specific site, etc.
Start GPS/ GLONASS- tracking allowed to control movement of the equipment in the field and to optimize its work.
System implementation helped to improve conditions, a storage mode and a priority of giving in production of sugar beet, to thereby raise economic indicators at a single plant on production of sugar.
