AggreGate 5.6
On November 14, 2018, Tibbo Systems, a manufacturer of smart device management software, announced the release of the next version of the AggreGate IoT platform.
In version 5.6, the AggreGate platform became even more web-oriented. With an online store, users can optimize system configuration by downloading and connecting only those modules and technologies that are needed within the project, as well as adding them as needed.
The universal driver will allow you to add support for proprietary protocols by configuring the system, without developing separate device driver modules in Java.
The AggreGate analytical tool - an event correlator - allows you to analyze data in real time, transform it, track dependencies, find specified patterns, highlight trends and much more.
- is an JavaScript API implementation of the AggreGate API in the most common programming language. Now you can create modern web interfaces and communicate with the server in the same language - JavaScript, the company said. One of the main features of this API is interactive interaction with a single AggreGate server data model.
The AggreGate web interface was able to work autonomously under the control of the Tomcat web server. A web application deployed in this way does not bind to a specific server, but can connect to other servers. That is, now through one web application you can work with several AggreGate servers at once. The license management process can now be automated through integration with the license server. AggreGate server administrators no longer need to monitor the validity period and set of plugins provided in the current license and change them manually if necessary.
Other features include:
- New table types to support large arrays of information
- memory flow control algorithm;
- customization of the appearance of standard components;
- Scaling in the graphics editor
- self-diagnostics panel;
- Updating the event store
- Avatar driver, which allows you to work with a device of another server as with a local one, and much more.

According to the developer on analytics and data processing capabilities, AggreGate has become more like a Business Intelligence solution than an IoT platform. This release features machine learning, a visual process editor, and big data modules.
The machine learning tool allows data processors to analyze time series streams and large data arrays to extract the necessary knowledge. The training modules are built into a single AggreGate data model, which allows them to exchange data with any other objects, devices and data sources of the platform.
Another significant update is the visual process editor. Using it, it becomes possible to combine server logic and interactive interaction with the operator into a single process. At the same time, the creation of various algorithms for data processing and decision-making does not require programming skills. In the AggreGate 5.5 release, graph databases are available that allow you to work with structured data in a more natural form, are well suited for analyzing data structures and dependencies, and configuration management (CMDB).
An important improvement is also the update of the Report Editor. Now Jaspersoft Studio is used as the report editor. Dozens of visual components, advanced data processing tools, along with support for many export formats, allow you to create interactive reports and provide analytics for the needs of any project.
Thanks to resource packages that simplify and automate the creation of resource plugins, it has become easier to replicate custom turnkey solutions.
