United Engine Corporation completed system implementation of management of NSI

On July 21, 2016 the SDI Solution company announced a victory in the tender for creation and implementation of the Corporate System of Management Normative ​ to the Reference Information (KSU of NSI) on the Semantic MDM platform by request of United Engine Corporation Joint-stock company.

Project Tasks

By KSU of NSI it will be implemented in JSC UEC on the platform of a flagship product of the company – management systems of NSI Semantic MDM providing the enterprises of corporation with the uniform regulatory base on management of NSI (with reference structure of handbook data and their unified description), unification business ​ processes on updating of handbook data.

Project implementation assumes delivery and configuring of a management system of NSI Semantic MDM and its integration with a number of information systems of the processes used in JSC UEC for ensuring process of creation of the common information space (CIS) of corporation and information support of the following business ​:

• Standardization of design and technological solutions at design of the new equipment.
  • Cooperation of productions.
  • Optimization of purchases and logistics of materials and components.
  • Organization of uniform accounting policy and consolidation of the reporting.

Project Progress

On October 17, 2017 the SDI Solution company announced completion of works in the first stage and the beginning of works in the second stage of an implementation project of a corporate system of management of the normative reference information (KSU of NSI) on the Semantic MDM platform in JSC United Engine Corporation.

During the first stage the company contractor developed a set of organizational, methodical and technical documents and implemented all its provisions in practice. The Competence Center on maintaining by the corporate normative reference information (the Central Committee of NSI UEC) with fixing of functions of maintaining NSI in electronic form for all organizations of UEC is created. In 10 subsidiaries (S) of corporation the operating "Bureaus on maintaining NSI" providing interaction of S with the Central Committee of NSI UEC are created or reorganized.

The hardware network resource of KSU of NSI is created. It provides geographical distribution of the stored data, their broadcasting per secure channels of communication. Integration solutions of KSU of NSI with information systems of JSC UEC and an ACS of NSI of territorially remote subsidiaries are developed and put into operation:

Project Results

According to the statement of the company integrator, the created architecture will provide cost reduction, the information systems connected with integration, as at implementation of "Semantic MDM" as NSI ACS in DO, and in the course of implementation of the adjacent software (S).

At a stage of trial operation of a system collecting of content of NSI from DO, and its consolidation on the approved list of reference books of the first stage is carried out.
