Oz PhotoExpert

The Russian service provider specializing in IT outsourcing and cloud services, Onlanta (enters into group of LANIT) and the Russian software developer of processing and the analysis of images Media Forensic Software offer according to the SaaS model from a cloud of OnCloud.ru service for determination of counterfeits of photos based on the software package Oz PhotoExpert.

He is developed by specialists of Media Forensic Software and is capable to carry out the complex analysis of images: for example, cars. It allows to reduce risks from possible photocounterfeits from external sources. Thanks to a software package it is possible to confirm authenticity of digital images and the scan copies of documents, to reveal the photomontage made using image editors, to check a photo from road accident for compliance to the European Accident Statement and to automate control of insurance agents.

Oz PhotoExpert can process a flow of the analyzed photographic material via the user web interface with a possibility of individual preferences of the user for each separate source.

Gerasimov Artem, CEO of Media Forensica company: "Digital photos are the main material for fixing of a status of an object of car insurance. Using manipulations with images it is possible to make different fraudulent transactions: for example, to insure the double, having inserted the image with VIN number and a run from other survey; increase the amount of damage at a stage of settlement of losses; reduce the amount of damage at a stage of preinsurance survey to forge the fact of an insured event. Some insurance companies already use the developed software package. It protected them in the current year from payments to swindlers for the amount over 10 million rubles".

2016: The module ImageControl is integrated into KIB SearchInform

On December 8, 2016 it became known of integration of technology of verification of digital images Oz PhotoExpert into a DLP system [[A circuit of information security of SearchInform (KIB SearchInform)|"KIB SearchInform"]].

The module ImageControl, as a part of Oz PhotoExpert, in real time checks images for authenticity on the set conditions and warns about the fact of editing the image. According to the statement of the companies, this technological solution - the first in the Russian market of means of information security.

The module reveals cloning and transfer of sections of the image, an insert of fragments of other images, adding and removal of parts on the image, creation of the image of passports using special software and other actions. As a part of check the analysis of metadata and detection of discrepancies in EXIF fields. Results of check are reported in the form of graphic sketches with indication of places of changes.
