The Nizhny Novgorod regional clinical oncological clinic completed upgrade of IT infrastructure

On August 9, 2016 announced CROC Volga region start in operation of IT infrastructure of the oncological center in Nizhny Novgorod.

Project Tasks

In GBUZ NO NOKOD it was required to create the project and to unroll the modern scalable, protected, effective IT infrastructure for operational solving of tasks of availability at delivery of health care to the population. One of the main requirements to IT infrastructure - cost reduction on scalability and its service in the long term.

On the basis of the carried-out competitive procedure according to FZ-44 the contractor of the project selected CROC Volga region.

Project Progress

CROC Volga region system integrator created IT infrastructure of GBUZ NO "Nizhny Novgorod regional clinical oncological clinic".

Design stages, supplies of equipment, information systems and the software, their installation, setup and commissioning, training of specialists of GUBZ NO "NOKOD" entered project works.

Project Results

All information systems implemented in GBUZ NO NOKOD, including telephony and contact center, are constructed taking into account a scaling option and development.

Organization is implemented:

• IP telephony system and contact center;
• system of the automated jobs (AJ);
• virtual infrastructure with a storage system;
• backup system and data recovery;
• management system for printing;
• system of antivirus protection.

Within project implementation in GBUZ NO NOKOD digital telephone communication for 70 subscribers on the platform of solutions Unify is unrolled. Specialists of the center are provided with wireless DECT phones.

IT infrastructure core - switching the equipment of D-Link, for data exchange between system nodes at a speed up to 10 Gbps.

Service quality of patients and availability of medical care in GBUZ NO NOKOD supports contact center.

The specialized the automated jobs (AJ) for personnel are united in a single corporate network of organization and are integrated into the created management system for printing.

All jobs are protected from the virus attacks and unauthorized access by means of implementation of Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite and to compulsory procedures of identification, authentication and authorization at connection to corporate network.

In GBUZ NO NOKOD the virtualization platform is executed on the platform of a cluster of physical servers and storage systems of Fujitsu providing fault tolerance of operability of a system.

Virtual infrastructure on the Microsoft Hyper-V platform reduced number of the used physical servers, reduced energy consumption, heat release and cost of service of the server park. In virtual environment the backup system and data recovery is unrolled.

Staff of the Oncological center was trained to work on the supplied equipment and software which is a part of an automated workplace. For IT specialists of medical institution engineers of CROC Volga region provided training.

The problem of rendering effective medical care to the population facing the Oncological center demands from organization of application of innovations in all spheres of work including in information technology field.
