Lanit was transferred by document flow to RusHydro on the Russian LanDocs platform

On November 30, 2018 reported to LANIT that in RusHydro company transfer of a corporate system of document flow from the EMC Documentum platform on the Russian LanDocs platform included in the Register of domestic software came to the end. The project allowed to automate 12,500 jobs and to centralize document flow in the company and its subsidiaries and also provided economy of the budget of support of a corporate system of document flow of RusHydro.

Specialists of department of document management systems of LANIT developed and implemented the solution on the LanDocs platform, optimized office-work (work with the entering, outgoing correspondence, internal correspondence, protocols) and processing of contractual documentation, automated work with procurement documentation and implemented corporate storage of documents.

Processing and approvals of procurement and contractual documentation, including creation of integration flows with the ERP system and automated information system of purchase management created by NORBIT company were transferred to the LanDocs platform (enters into group of LANIT).

In parallel connected additional users to the LanDocs system and performed migration of historical data from EMC Documentum using specially developed service. Within the LanDocs system also automated work with documents of RusHydro collegiate organs, organized exchange of documents between the head company in Moscow and subsidiaries in regions.

Transition to the LanDocs platform is an example of successful import substitution of an electronic document management system which increased quality of management in the company and provided economy of the IT budget. The implemented technologies on the LanDocs platform significantly reduced the number of documents in a system, labor costs by their processing, quantity of errors in work with documents, increased performing discipline and increased the speed of acceptance of management decisions. Lanit will be engaged in creation of a corporate system of document flow on the LanDocs platform for RusHydro holding. It became known at the beginning of October, 2016 after the declaration of results of tender at the choice of the developer of new EDMS.^[1].

RusHydro changes Documentum for domestic EDMS

In total two applications were submitted for tender with the starting price of 84 million rubles. The first from Lanita, the second - from APO Soft company. Lanit originally suggested to satisfy terms of the contract for 80.1 million rubles, but during rebidding in addition reduced the price to 75 million rubles. APO Soft submitted the application with the cost of the agreement to 80.5 million rubles, and did not begin to take part in rebidding.

Thus, the winner announced Lanit, the system developer of LanDocs.

Let's remind that a project objective is optimization of document flow of RusHydro, ensuring uniform document storage in the systematized and ordered type, increase in transparency, speed and controllability of managerial document flow.

One more project objective - creation of a technology basis for unification of processes of document flow within group and reduction of cost of ownership "due to development of corporate EDMS on a software platform of the domestic developer".

Development and deployment of corporate EDMS on the LanDocs platform will cover executive office and branches of the hydrogeneration company. A new system should have the centralized architecture and provide a connectivity not less than 4000 users with steady work at the same time of 500 sessions.

In addition within the project it is necessary to transfer to new EDMS data from an old system since 2014 inclusive and also active tasks and incomplete documents. Integration of a new and old solution for document flow is not required.

By the time of start of the project the total amount of users existing in RusHydro of EDMS based on EMC Documentum is more than 4300 employees. A system completely covers executive office and branches of the company. Partially 47 more subsidiaries are connected to it. EDMS is implemented on the centralized scheme, and the main type of connection of users is the web client.

RusHydro as priority OS and DBMS specifies products of Microsoft in requirements to computing powers which will be used for new EDMS. In case of impossibility/undesirability of their use the contractor needs to prove it. Among the other systems it is desirable to use different commercial versions of Red Hat Linux OS and Oracle DBMS, said in technical specifications.
