Konica Minolta transferred Helicopters of Russia to outsourcing of printing

On January 11, 2018 the Konica Minolta company announced transfer of Helicopters of Russia company on outsourcing of printing. Within the project are implemented access according to cards to a printing equipment, the automated printing process monitoring, remote control of all printing devices and Job Roaming technology – printing on any printer in any location. Supply of equipment, preproject activity and project implementation are performed by vendor. Project implementation, without preliminary activity, took about one month.

Optimization and cost reduction on printing and procurement procedures connected with service, updating and unification of the park of the printing equipment due to transition to the equipment only of one producer, transfer of service on outsourcing to specialists of vendor, control of printing processes and reducing costs for service were project objectives.

100% the predicted expenses on printing and their considerable decrease became results of the project. It was promoted by an exception of the facts of idle time of a system of printing, lack of interruptions in deliveries of supplies and optimization of activity of service staff – due to pro-active monitoring and the automated control of the park of the equipment.

The equipment of Konica Minolta was selected because of several factors: based on large-scale audit of printing within preproject activity, lack of notes to work to office equipment of Konica Minolta which was already available earlier, results of testing of the equipment of a hardware and software system of safe printing of Ysoft SafeQ, including on Linux OS. Also this equipment showed price relation and qualities based on procurement procedures.

"As a result of project implementation, the number of the used equipment was reduced from 170 to 50 units and only three models without falling of quality of the rendered service. Thanks to outsourcing, the equipment is on balance of Konica Minolta that allowed to transfer capital costs to operating rooms. Total expense reduction on printing made 33% that is very good result, considering geographical distribution of the equipment on two points. Agreement with RT-Inform

RT-INFORM (The center of IT competences of State Corporation Rostec) signed in May, 2017 the agreement on cooperation in IT sphere with Rostelecom and Helicopters of Russia. As a result of the agreement it is going to reach reducing costs for informatization of the enterprises of the helicopter industry at expansion and optimization of quality of the provided services in information technology field.

The signatures under the document were appended by the CEO of RT-INFORM Kamil Gazizov, the president of Rostelecom Mikhail Oseevsky, the CEO of Helicopters of Russia holding Andrey Boginsky.

The signed agreement will allow to reduce costs for the provided infrastructure services for the enterprises of Helicopters of Russia, to develop projects in the field of providing holding with computing infrastructure, computing powers, providing information services, including with virtualization of resources of the enterprises.

The service contract on rendering service of pokopiyny printing

RT-INFORM signed in April, 2017 the service contract on rendering service of pokopiyny printing for JSC Vertoletov Rossii. Service will allow to reduce charges of printing infrastructure of holding, to achieve detailed detailing of expenses on printing, to optimize the business processes connected with document flow and to ensure smooth operation of all park of the printing equipment.

According to the agreement with RT-INFORM service will be available to management company of Helicopters of Russia within 3.5 years and includes complex service of office equipment from prevention and repair before providing supplies (except paper), necessary for unceasing printing. Forces of specialists of RT-INFORM booked audit of the business processes connected with production and movement of documents in holding.

On the basis of the done work as specialists the offer on process optimization was prepared, optimal models of office equipment which will provide high productivity of work of staff of holding are picked up.

Thanks to this service on balance of JSC Vertoletov Rossii the huge arsenal of office equipment which is constantly needing the paid maintenance and repair will not collect. Excess load of accounting is removed, the mechanism of write-off of direct costs becomes simpler. Goes the specialized equipment which is precisely expected a certain loading on printing into the disposal of holding. Transferring management company of Vertoletov Rossii to pokopiyny printing, it is going to reduce costs of holding for service of printing infrastructure. According to the experts, the share of costs for the organization of printing averages 30% of the IT budget of the company. The Pokopiyny service allows to pay only for actually printed pages and guarantees high-quality maintenance, thus there are processes of budget optimization and release of resources of IT department from which non-core tasks of the choice of supplies, their purchase, ensuring maintenance and repair of office equipment are removed.

In addition to management company of Helicopters of Russia further it is going to provide service and on the key enterprises of holding. It should be noted that the service of optimization of printing is profitable mainly to the large companies of Rostec which activity assumes need of paper document flow for large numbers.

2016: outsourcing support of PLM systems

In September, 2016 the RT-INFORM company announced provision of services of maintenance of PLM systems for Helicopters of Russia.

RT-INFORM won tender for technical support of automation systems of design and product lifecycle management (PLM) at the enterprises of Helicopters of Russia holding.

according to the agreement, the customer gets access to the updated software, services of telephone support in connection with use of the software, the latest version of the software with advanced feature set.
