Rostvertol

The aviation plant in Rostov-on-Don was founded on July 1, 1939 for the production of combat and civilian aircraft.

The Mi-10 helicopter is a real flying crane! In 1965, he raised a cargo weighing 15 tons to an altitude of 2840 meters.

In 1992, as a result of corporatization, the Rostov Helicopter Plant changed its name to Rostvertol OJSC. In December 2010, the company became part of Russian Helicopters OJSC, a subsidiary of OPK Oboronprom OJSC.

OJSC Rostvertol mass-produces a new generation Mi-28N Night Hunter combat helicopter (Mi-28NE in export version), a Mi-35 M fire support helicopter. Production of the Mi-24P helicopter continues. The company also produces a heavy transport helicopter Mi-26T and its modernized version Mi-26T2.

Performance indicators

2024: Revenue growth 15% to ₽57,5 billion

Rostvertol's revenue in 2024 increased by 15% and amounted to ₽57,5 billion. The main income of the enterprise was provided by the production and sale of helicopters, which accounted for about 90% of total revenue. This became known in February 2025.

According to Vedomosti, the company's revenues from the production and sale of helicopters reached ₽51,78 billion, which is 17.9% more than in 2023. Revenue from the production and sale of spare parts for helicopters increased by 59.6% to ₽3,9 billion.

Accounts receivable increased from 68.5 billion rubles to 77.3 billion rubles. The volume of long-term liabilities increased from 43 billion rubles to 71.4 billion rubles. At the same time, the volume of short-term liabilities decreased from 80.3 billion rubles to 72.4 billion rubles.

In July 2024, the management of Rostvertol decided to reorganize the company by joining JSC Aviapriborny Repair Plant with the transfer of all rights and obligations.

In the structure of the enterprise's revenues for 2024, the production and repair of aircraft brought in ₽1,56 billion, which is 38.2% less than in the previous year. However, significant growth in the spare parts manufacturing and sales segment partially offset this decline.

In April 2024, the company revised its plans to move production facilities to Bataysk, which have been considered since 2008. The decision was made in connection with a special military operation.

The main activity of the enterprise is the production of aircraft, helicopters and other aircraft.

History

2019

As of the first quarter of 2019, the main shareholders of the company were Russian Helicopters JSC with a share in the authorized capital of 83.27% and Rostec Corporation with a share of 12.95%, as well as three individuals. Russian Helicopters Joint Stock Company also acts as the management company of Rostvertola^[1]
