YSoft SafeQ the Complete solution on management of printing and scanning

SafeQ of the Czech company YSoft is the server software providing a convenient and safe method of identification of users using magnetic cards and/or ^[1] on the access terminal. SafeQ is a server which controls and distributes printing works in corporate network of the customer. All works of printing are stored on the SafeQ server. 2019: YSoft SafeQ is built in the Brother multifunction devices now

On May 20, 2019 YSoft Corporationi Brother in Russia announced solution integration on management of printing and scanning of YSoftSafeQ in the Brother multifunction devices.

Such integration allows the organizations to get indisputable advantages in performance improvement, improvements of safety of document flow and cost reduction on printing. The complex YSoftSafeQ platform allows to use only necessary functions, adding separate applications in the form of add-on modules. The companies using Brother devices can select functionality on management of printing, or on scanning process management, or both at the same time.

The built-in Brother terminal added a line of the built-in terminals supported by YSoft. 2016: YSoft SafeQ of version 6

Konica Minolta announced in December start of sales in the Russian market of the updated software platform of YSoft SafeQ of version 6 – the complete solution for infrastructure management of printing and document flow. In this version function of roaming of printing is changed and support of a multitenantnost is updated. Now the solution is easily scaled, maintains functionality of digitization of data and can flexibly be configured under the client's tasks.

The architecture of the platform represents a set of modules and program expansions. Implementation of support functions of document flow, security of printing and reducing costs of printing become available to business of any size.

The updated function of roaming of printing (Client Based Print Roaming) provides sending tasks to queue for the client PC, but not on the server of the company that considerably reduces costs for support of server capacities and optimizes load of work of corporate networks. Support of a multitenantnost (multirent architecture) allows to integrate services of printing of several companies or branches in a single system in such a way that information of each company will be in the independent isolated space.

Accounting of works (Accounting)

SafeQ supports two main types of accounting: on-line and off-line.

At on-line accounting the server receives a feedback from the printing device directly during printing and finds out the actual number of the printed pages.

The works cancelled or not printed for some reason (owing to the termination of supplies, jamming and so forth) are correctly considered by an accounting system. On the account of the user only the actual number of the printed pages is considered.

At off-line accounting of work are considered right after departure on printing. The number of pages in a task is immediately charged into the account of the user. Even if work was cancelled, the complete number of pages in a task will be written into the account of the user.

Also a system has a possibility of accounting of filling of pages with a toner of different flowers. The file of a task is analyzed by the program. The quality of determination of filling depends on permission of work of printing. This function is supported only for the following page description languages: PCL, Postscript, HPGL2. Accuracy of accounting depends on the driver of printing and type of the device.

Direct printing (Direct print)

When using Direct printing of work are printed in absolutely traditional way. Works come to SafeQ as on the normal print server, and go further on the printing device without delays. The server analyzes works and considers all necessary parameters (the number of pages, use of color, duplex use, the printing device, the user, % of filling with a toner).

YSoft SafeQ Instant Edition

YSoft SafeQ Instant Edition is the simplified solution on management of printing process developed especially for the companies of small and medium business. This solution is suitable for monitoring of volumes of printing up to 10 devices (local printers, photocopiers, the MFP).
