2025: Launch of R&D direction: from service experience to products with "service DNA"

Mobius Technologies on December 9, 2025 announced the launch of R&D a board based on many years of experience in service IT support. The goal is to create equipment for the IT infrastructure, which is originally designed for long-term operation and support.

According to Alexander Triguba, Deputy General Director for Product Creation and Production Development of Mobius Technologies, the decision to launch its own production was a logical continuation of the practice of servicing large customers.

We know firsthand the pain points of companies at the stage of post-warranty maintenance of the IT infrastructure: a shortage of qualified service, expensive and long repairs, the lack of a single supplier and responsibility, - said Alexander Triguba. "This has pushed us to create" service DNA "equipment that is designed from the outset with a clearly projected lifecycle model - an understandable service structure, predictable costs, a single center of responsibility for equipment, and accelerated recovery based on deep knowledge of the architecture of our multi-vendor engineering team.

Based on market analysis and daily customer support practices, Mobius Technologies has identified two key development vectors. For the core IT infrastructure, the company began to manufacture servers with maximum maintainability and component availability, storage and NAS solutions with built-in post-warranty logic, tape libraries (support for generations from LTO-7 to LTO-9) and network equipment. The second vector was the production of specialized and multimedia solutions: noise insulation cabinets for office testing of noisy equipment and smart panels.

If two years ago the main task was to provide deliveries at any cost, today the customer is more and more interested in the issues of its further maintenance, - summed up Alexander Triguba.

In the future, Mobius Technologies plans to launch an expanded post-warranty support program for equipment during 2026, and 3 years later to introduce a digital twin technology for virtual diagnostics and selection of equipment repair scenarios.

Plan for opening a laboratory for project activities at a financial university under the Government of the Russian Federation

On May 22, 2023, Mobius Technologies announced that it would create a laboratory at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation for design activities and training IT specialists. This unit will appear in 2023 in the structure of the Department of Business Informatics, Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis (ITiABD). In the Mobius Technologies laboratory, students will be able to receive best practice based on the methods and infrastructure of the company from its best specialists.

There is a serious shortage of IT specialists in Russia. Representatives of relevant departments emphasize that the personnel deficit is in the hundreds of thousands, and the problem has existed for a long time. Exacerbates its lack of practical experience in graduates - in companies, first of all, qualified specialists with a developed portfolio are in demand.

This laboratory will help overcome this barrier. At the Mobius Technologies stand, students will be able to work under the supervision of company experts on real projects, which will allow them to gain the necessary experience at the university. Courses "Information and technological structure of the organization" and "Architecture of the organization" will be available for students of the "Business Informatics" direction in the laboratory.

Representatives of the company will be part of the final certification commission: in June, together with university teachers, they will evaluate graduation qualification work. All students who have successfully studied in the laboratory will receive an established diploma as part of additional professional education. Nine of the best third-year students of the Business Informatics direction will be invited to an internship at Mobius Technologies in the summer of 2023.
