AFK "Sistema" completed upgrade of a security system of IT infrastructure

On November 30, 2016 the JSC Nvision Group company announced upgrade of an information security system of corporate network PJSC AFK Sistema.

Project Progress

For the organization of the protected connection to a LAN the solution Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) is used, it helps the customer's IT specialists to manage on a centralized basis politicians of access to network of employees and guests, to precisely identify and control activity of all devices operating in network.

Separation of users on groups allows to set different access rights depending on the status of the employee: company executives, staff of administrative departments, commercial divisions, etc. Authentication and authorization is performed on ports of access switches which send a request for the Cisco ISE server. The server confirms or rejects providing access rights to network. In addition a system defines device type (the PC, the smartphone, the printer, etc.), automatically checks a status of its operating system and a security setting: activation of an antivirus, availability of the malware.

Visitors of offices of PJSC AFK Sistema can use guest Wi-Fi to which it is possible to be connected after necessary authentication by the temporary password. For convenience creation of several types of guest accounts is possible: hour, day and contract, assuming Internet access more than for one week.

Specialists of the contractor carried out inventory of the computer park of PJSC AFK Sistema, having checked compliance to security policies more than 350 computers.
