Biography

Sergey Kuzmin was born in 1977 in the city Korolyov of the Moscow region.

In 1998 graduated from Academy FSB Russia majoring in Law, in 2012 received degree of EMBA at the higher school of the international business of the Russian academy of national economy under the President of the Russian Federation.

Career in MTS

At once upon termination of university in 1998 Sergey Kuzmin began work in MTS with the legal adviser's position.

In 2007 he held a post of the director of legal department "MTS Russia", and since 2010 within two years headed MTS branch in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

In October, 2012 MTS announced Ural Sergey Kuzmin's appointment to a position of the director of the macroregion. Operational management of the mobile and fixed business of MTS in the territory of the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan and Tyumen regions, the Khanty-Mansi and Yamal-Nenets autonomous areas and also Perm Krai fell within the scope of its responsibility.

The tasks of strategy implementation of group of MTS in the Urals – strengthenings of positions of the company due to promotion of hi-tech services, constructions and upgrades of data networks, an output of the fixed services to the markets of the new cities, further development of retail network, a segment of financial services, data transmission technologies were set for Sergey Kuzmin.

During its management of branch, in the Urals the most large-scale program in the history of MTS for upgrade of network of the region was carried out; the operator increased a market share in the region, strengthened positions both in mass, and in corporate market segments.

President of NVision Group

In March, 2015 Sergey Kuzmin was appointed the president of NVision Group. The decision on it was made by Board of Directors of the company.

In a new position increase in operational and financial performance of the company, development of IT services and services in the markets, priority for the company, and also search of other opportunities of business development were among priority tasks of Kuzmin.

Before, within about a year, NVision Group was headed by Vyacheslav Smirnov in combination directing Sitronics KASU company. After Sergey Kuzmin's appointment to the president's position Smirnov as the CEO Sitronics KASU will focus on development of projects on creation of large-scale intelligent systems of management for the state and large business, such as "Safe city" and "Intelligent transport systems".

Departure from the job of the president of NVision Group

In December, 2018 Sergey Kuzmin left a post of the president of NVision Group, having completed the work in this company. In this position it was replaced by Andrey Yershov.
