On December 7, 2016 the Omnicomm company announced equipment of buses of the Tver Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve on hockey satellite monitoring of Omnicomm Online transport

Project Tasks

Monitoring of transport Omnicomm Online collects all information on work of the bus – the movement speed, a route, stops, etc. and on the channel GSM- real-time communication transfers her to a cloud service for further processing and the analysis. The solution is used at once by two systems of positioning – GLONASS and GPS that allows to define location of the bus with a high accuracy. The partner Omnicomm in Tver the company "Omnikomm Tver" was engaged in project implementation.

Project Results

The question of safe transportation of pupils for us always was on the first place. To know about where there is this or that bus with what speed and along what route it moves us it was accepted solutions to implement monitoring of Omnicomm Online transport. Today we obtain all necessary information on movement of ice-hockey teams on roads of our country in real time that allows to increase safety of transportations of athletes considerably. After project completion distributed to parents of little hockey players an instruction in which it is in detail described how each of them will be able independently to monitor movement of the child on the computer or the mobile phone.

According to the statistics more than 40% of passenger traffic during the winter period are the share of children. Unfortunately the tragedy in KhMAO once again proves that safety of transportations of minors in our country for the present at rather low level. In my opinion special attention should be paid to approval and monitoring of routes of the movement of buses and control of drivers of observance of traffic regulations. I consider that in a number of regions the solution Omnicomm Online actually interferes with illegal and wrongful acts of drivers that promotes increase in safety of transportation of minors.
